Yep Mclemore looks useless out there. I guess he's no.1 though because unlike the other prospects hes like 1/4 instead of 1/16 and 9 turns. He knows if he just sits in the corner he did better than the rest of the draft

I think I'm hopping back on the Nerlens bandwagon.

Was just thinking this.

You almost wonder if in about 10 years they make a documentary about this year centered around scouts being unable to accurately rate the players' abilities and other party making rankings of the teams.

Obviously scouts do a lot of work outside the tourney before and after, and there are guys not even in the tourney that will get drafted high. But it would have been nice to get a couple games out of some of them.

Chad Ford ‏@chadfordinsider 12m
Big draft winner of NCAA tournament so far? Nerlens Noel. Might be No. 1 by default -- torn ACL and all.

It is crazy that every top prospect has laid an egg so far.

SG Jamaal Franklin looked good for San Diego St....21pts 8 boards 4dimes 2steals....He does everything for that team.

Just not the brightest crayon in the box, but could be making a push for late first round.

.............................................................................................................................................................

PG Zo Brown played well in a loss....22points 4boards 9dimes....Hinted at staying in school for his senior year, but hell he may be the best PG prospect in this class after the combine. Remember only his second year ever running the point.

...........................................................................................................................................................

PF Richard Howell ended his career at NC State with 14points & 15boards. He was a beast all year & a double double machine. Also a good passer for a big man & can hit the mid range jumper.

Somebody is gonna get a SOLID pro & hard worker in the second round with him. Guy has improved so so much throughout college.

...........................................................................................................................................................

PG Shane Larkin had 10points & 9dimes.

Hell he may come out this year with the weak PG draft. He has elite/Lawson type speed & is a very very good rebounder for his size.

..........................................................................................................................................................

SG Durand Scott is a guy I am really starting to like had 21points & knocked down 5 threes. He is a 6'5" guard out of the Bronx & brings that toughness. Plays like D Wade & can really score the ball.

Good off the bounce & from deep. Takes over games at times.

This truly is a very weak draft class. Disappointing.

Another guy not to forget about is Ricardo Ledo....

All the potential in the world on the offensive end as a 2 guard.

Thanks for posting the Larkin highlights above...I really dig that kid. Best player i've watched this year, I think.

I'm interested to see what he does.

He could stay & be the "man", but he already leads one of the best teams in scoring. His stock keeps rising & next year Kadji, Scott, McKinney Jones, Johnson, & Gamble who are 2, 3, 4, 5, & 6 in scoring on that team will be gone.

If Miami makes a deep deep run in this tourney I think Larkin may leave as well.....He has that hall of fame pedigree running through his blood. (although its from baseball)

No thanks to Larkin. Looks like a defensive nightmare.
