Will keep you all posted.
Kravitz is off, so it's Bianchi asking all the questions.
They opened up talking about Isaac working with Coaching for Literacy. You can find more information here:
https://www.coachingforliteracy.org/fight-for-literacy-gamesQ: Why is this an important cause for you?A: Honestly, it wasn't on my mind until recently. Statistics were brought to my attention and I wanted to be a part of helping kids with their reading. It was all the more special for me because I have a little brother in 4th grade right now. I'm pledging money for each point I score over a 4 game period and hope to have people match that donation.
Q: How good is the Magic's commitment to the Central Florida community?A: The organization is fantastic. They are the driving force behind all of it. They get us out in the community where we spend time with kids and people in need. It really speaks to the greatness of our organization to push us to do more.
Q: You are a man of faith. How special is Christmas special to you?A: Definitely special. My whole family is coming to my house, my mom, and we're all going to celebrate.
Q: What is your favorite Christmas song?A: Silent Night.
Q: What did the team learn about itself on this recent West Coast road trip?A: We learned that we could play with the best in the league, but we also learned that we have a lot to get better at in terms of late game execution. We're not happy with the losses, but there were encouraging things to build on.
Q: Coach Clifford isn't satisfied with moral victories, is he?A: Oh heck no. Not at all. We're not either.
Q: How is Coach Clifford different from other coaches you've been around?A: He knows exactly what he wants and when that standard is not met, it's a big problem. Doesn't matter who you are on the team. He's very upfront with us about his expectations. He's an easy coach to play for when you're ready, focused and excited to play. If you're not, he can be a tough coach to play for.
Q: How hard has it been for Coach Clifford to break the loser's mentality of recent years?A: I don't think it's been hard at all. Here's been here less than a year and we're already making big strides. His personality is rubbing off on us. We all want to win. We're continuing to grow and I'm looking forward to continuing to get better.
Q: Vuc playing like a superstar this year. A I'm so glad he's playing so well. He's a monster down there!
Q: How is Vuc as a teammate?A: He's fantastic teammate. He's always talking to us. He's a lot like Coach Cliff in the respect that when theres something that needs to be said to the team, he's the guy that says it. He's a leader. He's so skilled. He makes the games so easy for all of us who play off him. I play off him, AG plays off him.
Q: How is Bamba integrating into the team?A: Mo is fantastic. I love playing with him, encouraging him, being on the floor with him. He's so bright. Time will tell. If he works hard, stays ready, he'll be a phenomenal player.
Q: Should FSU fans give Taggart a chance?A: Oh absolutely. He took on a lot. He was a tough position with a whole lot of pressure from the FSU fan base. Give him some slack and well see what he can do next year.
Q: FSU is a soccer school now!A: They were always tough when I was there. I had classes with Deyna (Castellanos) and she was awesome.
Q: Are you a college football fan?A: Not so much. I don't really watch a lot.
Q: How about UCF? Your hometown team. Back-to-back undefeated seasons!A: That's whats up *laughs*
