I've actually expanded mine into a Top 6.
I've gotten to like Keon Johnson. He has flaws and there are obvious tiers within the Top 6, but I see a bigger fall off after that.
Kuminga is loaded with a rare combination of athleticism and size. Athletes come in all shapes and sizes, but a few of them have fine motor skills that show up in their form, coordination, body movement... where others don't. Take AG for example. AMAZING athlete, but he didn't posses the finer motor skills and that prevented him from being a fluid wing player. He was very blocky and robotic in nature. I've heard people compare Kuminga to AG, but I couldn't disagree more. Kuminga moves like a fluid wing player, his game is very smooth. He can drive and attack the basket in ways AG never could. He moves around like a big 2 guard. The way he moves actually reminds me a lot of a young under-developed T-Mac. People don't like to recall young McGrady because he was also only a slasher, dunker and defender. It took time for him to develop into a shooter.
..and the MAIN reason why Kuminga is not liked around here as much is because of his 3pt shooting percentage. He's NOT a good 3pt shooter out of the box. You need to have patience if you're going to believe in him. But you can't complain about the form. IMO, I think over time, his shot will become more consistent and VERY GOOD. He has the coordination to get there. It's not like Hezonja who was another great athlete that lacked fine motor skills. For all his ability to dunk, he just couldn't turn the corner because he was just a little too stiff.
I loved Anthony Edwards in last year's draft and he wasn't a great shooter either. The reason why is because of his true athleticism and fluidity. You watch him play and he's just a rare breed of player when it comes to his fluidity, athleticism and size. T-Wolves think his shooting will come around and I think Kuminga's will come around. Same could be said for Keon Johnson and why I like him. Kuminga is better than Keon though. Keon has a wild factor and sometimes disappears in games.
