Woah! Knicks! What work!

Taking both games in Boston, that’s huge for them and the series.

These playoffs have been so crazy man. Great game after great game. Tons of defensive battles too.

I swear if the Magic can get some scoring they can compete with these guys.

Tatum looked terrified against the length of NY.

Fluke games. Boston should have won both easily.

This is what happens when you are dependent on 3s. When you are on, you are unstoppable. But when you off, you are very beatable.

NY has too much length for Boston to get anything consistent inside, and they are challenging the 3s.

Watching the Nuggets-Thunder game...

Does it get to anyone else when other teams use the same arena sounds that we started?

Case in point: the Ironside siren when refs make a questionable call.

I noticed other teams started using the intro to "Jungle Love" by The Steve Miller Band after the bubble.

Irks me

They were up 20 in both games. Knicks winning by a hair with crazy runs at the end. Obviously Boston shouldn't be letting this happen, but these are just low probability wins and they got two in a row. Would be nuts if Boston gets swept. But if its not Boston in the finals, whoever comes out of the west has easy pickings.

It happened to us in 2010. We won 14 in a row and walked through the first two rounds of the playoffs. Boston won the first 2 in Orlando in the ECF

Yup that series essentially ended after game 2 loss at home. We were able to get 2 wins but too much to overcome. We also haven’t won a series since that playoff.

I think we had the biggest point differential in the first round against the Hawks until the Cavs beat it this season against the Heat.

The 2010 Magic relied on Dwight drawing double-teams from post-ups for the bulk of their offense. The Celtics didn’t need to double-team, which allowed them to guard the Magic very effectively. In game 4, the Magic leaned heavily on the pick-and-roll with Jameer as the ballhandler, along with a few tricks to counteract the defense (using Rashard as a screener sometimes, so the Magic could run a pick-and-pop that pulled the Celtics big man out of Jameer’s way, changing the angle of the screens Dwight set so Jameer had a much easier time making the pocket pass after getting doubled off the screen). The Celtics seemed to adjust their defense by game six, but I also heard Dwight and Jameer picked up two early fouls that game as well.

I just wanted to mention that the Magic struggled against the Celtics because the Celtics were the one team that didn’t throw a hard double-team when Dwight posted up, because if I didn’t no one would.
Remember when Kobe elbowed Jameer in the chin so hard Jameer was knocked down and sent skidding across the floor?
