we're just going to let these expirings disappear aren't we? what is it with this front office and this lack of aggressiveness? every season they say some amalgamation of "internal development" "evaluation" "continuity".....are they really going to NOT do anything until they're FORCED to which they will this offseason?

They sit on players 1-2 seasons longer than necessary. They always miss the window for good value. Always.

We have the most inactive, unbothered front office in the league. It's not even really about this deadline.

The only reason why I expected a trade was because Markelle, Gary and Chuma are all expiring contracts but I guess we’re staying firm huh.

Almost everyone in front of us in the standings made a move and got better.

everyone around us getting better, even marginally but still getting better....while we still going forward to the second half of the season with the same problems....possibly going into the play-in/offs with the same problems....it's frustrating man, we can't solve our issues right now with "internal development"

Weltman will probably try to sign him now, you can never have too many PGs who can't shoot.

We may be nearly dead last in the NBA in three point shooting for the 7th year in a row while having arguably the worst point guard rotation, but we lead the league in friendships amongst teammates. No way Weltman can break that up. Should have gotten Olive Garden to take over naming rights of the Arena. “The Orlando Magic, when you’re here you’re family”.

But don’t you see, making a trade will result in the entire organization burning down to the ground! We made a bad trade giving up Oladipo for Ibaka years ago so we can never do anything remotely agressive or risky again! It’s too scary!

It's like the trade deadline of a few years ago never happened. Vuc, Evan and Gordon all gone in one day. This "no risk" narrative is a false flag.

The players forced him to trade them.

Honestly we REALLY need to thank AG & Fournier for forcing their way out. Best thing they ever did as part of the Magic franchise. They could recognize what management wasn't willing to, which is this team wasn't going anywhere and that they want to go somewhere else where they can make an impact. Buc wanted to stay supposedly but we traded him since we moved our other 2 "core pieces"

I feel fairly confident if they didn't force their way out, we wouldve held onto them for some more seasons.
