All right guys, I have to leave and take a final exam. Keep updating the thread with any news, tweets, discussion, ideas, articles... whatever.. blow this thing up with information... let's pray that today is a good day! #GetHowardRealHelp #EllisToOrlando

Don't miss the Magic media day, starts at Noon (correct me if I'm wrong). Keep tabs on David Baumann's live ustream: http://www.ustream.tv/channel/davidbaumann33

if so well have to wait the 90 day waiting period cause im pretty sure weve signed him and cant trade him now for 90 days

Exactly. I guess they were afraid of losing JRich to another team if they waited or maybe they exhausted possible trade scenarios with him. OR, Otis really likes JRich and wouldn't trade him for anyone outside of a superstar.

I think Otis and the Magic are going to have a hard time to convince the fan base that Otis was right in this situation and he did everything he could do and that Dwight is totally to blame here. The fans, this one for sure, are going to have a very hard time to find hope with situations like this going on.

He will have to do better than this. It seems like he is too prideful just to suck it up, instead he feels the need to sling back.

From the Sentinel: Smith echoed that theme Sunday.

“The tail can’t wag the dog in all instances,” he said. “We have to work accordingly together. The best players in the league work together with their front office staff and ownership groups.”

if dwight really wants sjax....

jj and ryno for sjax.... then tpe for gooden? helps them get further under cap while atleast somewhat replaceing both player..... then you still have hopefully enough to work a 3 team trade to aquire beans and ellis from gsw.....

i think that the sjax trade already makes us more competitive then we are now and that would give dwight 2 of his "list" players in big baby and sjax
Summertime and the livin's easy....

Ryan Anderson on Media Day: "Most exciting day of the day of the year where we get to take pictures and do interviews for five hours long."

The more I hear about Ryno the more I like him. At least he puts things in perspective.

Just wish he would suddenly mature into a 15/10 guy.

Ugh, Gooden. Only if we could flip him for something useful, like some old socks or something.

I've seen Ellis play a lot, he's been my favorite non-Magic player ever since I saw him play in real life for the first time in his rookie year

He's a great scorer, very athletic, not as bad on defense as some say he is, he's never played with a great defensive big before so playing with Dwight would make him even better.

Probably why we should love him most, his first option is always to attack the rim & play up-tempo.

He averaged near 6APG last year, playing with another ball-handler (Curry) so he can definitely play PG too.

A lineup of Ellis/JRich/Jax/Baby/Dwight is a lineup Dwight would really like

Ellis can ball, no question. He's definitely the most exciting player on the Warriors.

Dwight's list doesn't seem too unreasonable, in my opinion.

Hmmm....I didn't read that Jarrod article when it came out...but to me what it says about Stan losing the Locker room seems more like truth to me...too much smoke not to be fire....What Jarrod wrote about Stan's system is what I've been trying to say all season last year.....too robotic...too predictable..too cookie cutter....The offense is so rigid that everybody except Dwight had to fear being yanked if they did ANYTHING outside of Stan's predictable offense....I mean for me Rudolph has been hit or miss mostly miss but on this point he's dead on.....I think Stan is a decent coach but to me the way he runs the team is like some form of Totalitarianism if that makes any sense

haha well gooden hopefully could give you 10-12 mins a nite off the bench.... but you gotta give to get .... we lose some youth but definately get us a gritty "dwight" player...i think id do it....especially if you knew the ellis trade was possible

Dwight's list is not that crazy, especially since the only "connections" Otis has to to GS. If he can't use those to get Monta he is useless.

Are we even trying to trade right now? I never hear anything about us actually trying to negotiate trades for Monta, just seems to be what the fans want

This is the problem with Otis, he doesn't talk about what he is doing. There aren't even leaks. It's a real problem because apparently he won't even talk to Dwight.
