Doesn't look like stan is going to change his ways, no matter how bad we play.

I came here for some friendly ridicule, but this is a good game thread (Katy Perry's bouncing chest makes anything better).

I am expecting Dwight to show up, although I don't see any of the starters on both sides playing a whole lot of minutes tonight. This game will be a good test for both of our bench/rotation players. Speaking of, how's Daniel Orton doing for you guys? Any improvement so far?

Although the final score of this game isn't all that important, I just hope for a fun, injury free game. :thumbsup:

I'd expect all the starters to get 30 minutes. Seems the norm around the league. There are 3 days till opening night, so no problems with fatigue, they need the minutes.

Glad Stan has been out there with the comments on the rookies. He can't make it much clearer, the rookies are not playing anything but garbage minutes this year because they don't have enough experience, and no, playing in France is not NBA experience. No summer league, barely any training camp, 2 preseason games, just not enough to get a rook ready.

That didn't take long. While this probably does some good for the team, as far as having Ryan start the game then have BBD bring some energy at the substitution, I don't think it will last.

I agree. Seeing Hedo go down should only reinforce the need for the rookies to play. The backup SF is the starting SG. The backup C is the starting PF. So what happens if J Rich or Davis gets in foul trouble or injured? Clark would then be both the SF and PF? Orton or Liggins are thrown in without any actual game minutes?

I agree, with the roster we have, we need to bring BBD off the bench, however BBD is not a nice guy like Bass, if thing doesn't go his way, he'll cause trouble
