lol, wouldn't be against it. Just think the two teams make tough trade partners as the Warriors need to get a long-term C (that they couldn't get in FA and not give up Ellis) or a SF on Ellis-level per management (Granger or Igudola).

BTW, Warriors came back from that deficit and are leading Memphis now :D

yes they were down 17, he comes in with 2-3 minutes left and scores 8 useless points in the last minutes..so instead of 12 and 4, he gets 20 and 4 in which it looks like a respectable game and raises his shooting % and point average...went from 4/12 shooting to 7/15 because the game was over...

gs is the most annoying team right now. everyone knows they have to trade monta to let curry develop or just trade curry. i don't see them getting a great player for ellis.

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=7jdeqzh
this trade would actually make gs better imo: curry/thompson/ariza/lee/kaman

then trade turk and a pick for sjax and we got: monta/jrich/sjax/anderson/dwight. ill keep dreaming

Curry has developed fine alongside Ellis. His development is stunted by injuries. And if the Warriors aren't going to get a "great" player for Ellis, why trade him?

warriors are too small to be a legit playoff team.

Backcourt size isn't what's hurting the Warriors. Not like there's a lot of post up guards - Ellis usually posts up his counterpart more than the other way around.

Warriors are killed at the 5 and 3 spots.

ellis isn't worth an elite sf or center. maybe an oj mayo or kevin martin type player

my trade gave gs a defensive sf in ariza and a good center in kaman and jj. they WOULD be a better team with those players no question about it, just not as flashy.

Then it doesn't make any sense to trade him

With Otis still around, there's just no reason to get excited.

I like Ariza, but Kaman is not a long-term piece at center (not to mention he's a UFA they could just pursue in the summer) and we got Klay Thompson, who would make Reddick redundant. That's pieces that could be had a lot cheaper than for Ellis imo

What do you guys think of lou williams? sixers have stop playing him for some reason and i think his style of game would be perfect for us as our back up pg. hes fast shoots the 3 and most importantly not duhon. I need help finding a good trade but i think he could easily be had and would make a world of difference for our second unit. maybe something like this and a second round pick going to philly http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=88r2zvk
