Nice thread SD! Play hard, play smart, move the ball from side to side and feed the big fella early and often so we can get easy shots playing inside-out. As long as we take care of those things, we will give ourselves a chance to get this win...LET'S GET IT!!! 8-)

Melo?

Dude if they start Novak against Ryan all those three point bombs are going to create a vortex in the space-time continuum.

Why do I feel we are going to pull a Bobcats game out of our rear ends...

Hope Magic don't play down to the level of their injury-riddled opponent tonight

I think the last game for Knicks, Melo started at PF for them. If that's the case, we're barely going to see Ryan tonight and Earl is gonna be relied upon.

Our worst losses this season have come against the most injury-riddled teams. Hopefully we don't see more of the same tonight.

that's what i'm afraid of....if teams put a small at the PF stan takes Ryan out the game like clockwork.....he has no answer but if i'm the other team then that's a win for me since i took Anderson being our second best player out of the game......

Just don't underestimate the Knicks. Melo is also a game time decision. With or w/o him, the Magic need to beat the Knicks on both ends of the floor.

It sucks they're not fully healthy, it would've been more fun and a lot better to evaluate how we do against good teams.

I agree with Dalic. It would have been better to play them with their full roster. I hate games like this where we play their scrubs and think that we've already won before we even hit the court. We need to go at them hard and pray that our bench doesn't **** the bed.

For some reason I'm feeling Jameer to have a big night. 20+pts, 7+ assists.

Juuust win!

He has no answer because he has nobody to answer with. If Melo plays the 4 we're exposed, get ready for a 40 point out burst. Hopefully he leaves Ryan open.

This is somewhat paradoxical.

Also - I predict we absolutely murder them from 3pt range today.

someone told me they had a 3 guard lineup....any combination of Lin/Baron/J.R smith or Shumpurt/Novak......either way we can't just let teams go small and take Ryan out like that....i would just leave Ryan in and play Zone....but since Stan has no confidence in our Zone play he goes the easy route and takes Ryan out.....but to note the team that has gone small to take Ryan out of the game was OKC.....they did it twice and we lost twice......We'll see what happens but we have a greater chance to win the game if our second best player is actually playing.....

They will probably play better without Amare
