Does anyone have a list of the free agents this off season? I want to do some research on those players.

The class isn't that impressive. No real game changers besides Nash imo. To land big fishes, we're going to have to rely on trades. The FA's have decent role players though, like Gerald Wallace.

Cut costs this offseason. Develop the young athletes and look to do some damage in the playoffs based on athleticism + defense. Then go all out in free agency 2013.

Bob Vander Weide resigned in Dec., altering evaluations. "It'll be different because Alex (Martins) will handle a lot of it." DeVos told me.

DavidBaumann33
Sentinel first reported GM Otis Smith isn't sure 2012-13 return. "I evaluate my situation every year," he told me. "That hasn't changed."

DavidBaumann33
#Magic Chairman Dan DeVos told me no discussion has taken place w GM Otis Smith about his future. DeVos:"It's still all about basketball."

What did he say?

1st time losing in the 1st round and will do whatever it takes to never let it happen again. Not happy with the effort and players need to play and practice at playoff level from now on and not let it be a shock to the team.

To me, it sounded like he was calling out some of the players efforts and the fact that they don't know how to play playoff basketball. They don't practice it and cannot play playoff basketball because they don't practice what they preach. Again, that's me reading between the lines.

Agree 100%. Dwight asked for him so why in the world would people want him traded? If we can get better players for him, then fine. If not, BBD is staying in a Magic uniform and that is perfectly fine with me.

You think they want our trash?

Sorry had to do it Nolimit.

But seriously, no way I want Boozer/contract on this team. Getting rid of hedo is appealing though.

Thanks! He's a great leader! I hope he can stick around and not ruin our chances at getting a good player in the '13 free agency.
