I can't wait until Oladipo scores 16 in the first half and then gets benched the rest of the game because he might help us win a game.

Yea I found that part questionable on JV's part to bench Nicholson after his hot start in the first half. I get trying to slow down West on the offensive end, but could JV showed more confidence in leaving AN out there to see if he's capable of making adjustments on the defensive end?

It worked in 2k14, so I figured I would try it here

 That's why that trade will stay in 2K14.

Guys guys... JV just wanted to make sure Dipo and AN were rested for tonight so they can get 40+ minutes. He knew we weren't beating Indy at home, just saving them for Minny. That's the reason... right? :dontknow:

Rubio (nothing against him, he's just not a great defender)

 I can't believe people still think this

Have to agree with this. Rubio seems like a very capable defender each time I have watched Minnesota play.

Does Afflalo have to play?

Some would make the argument that we're showcasing him to raise his trade value, but what if he keeps playing poorly? I'm sorry, I'm just very frustrated with him and Moore.

Has Vaughn said whether he plans to rest Nelson during the season? Like on back to backs à la the Spurs...

What's he gonna save him for? The playoffs?

Afflalo has been quite consistent throughout his career, he's not going to get any worse than he was previous years. Unlike BBD and Jameer, Afflalo can easily be traded.

To prevent injury, which happens to him every single year... basically an excuse to bench him in favor of giving Oladipo some starters experience. He "rested" Nelson for a few games in preseason after all...

This was JV's plan all along. And you all doubted him.

I watched the clips from last night's game on NBA.com. They talk about Dipo getting rejected by George (it was a goaltend) and how amazing George is (it was a goaltend) and welcome to the NBA rookie (did I mention it was a goaltend?).

Along with the flagrant foul, those were two of the worst calls I've seen in the past few seasons.

It's even worse that the post game highlights don't catch it. Sure in the heat of the game refs will miss calls, but how the NBA.com announcer after the game missed it is beyond me. Then they showed the other two times he got blocked and now the narrative for the game was that he struggled. But honestly he really didn't. Had that call gone correctly he'd be 5/11 shooting 45.4% with 14 points in 22 minutes. A pretty decent line.

I'm just crossing my fingers than AN44 comes out with another good night. We can't have all this build-up and then him go 2-10!
