With 4 days to go, who do we want/take?

i am really starting to get onboard with Embiid. just have to hope the doctors make the right call...

watching his footwork and defense really makes me think he could set us up for years to come...

Exum is the other guy i love...he is going to be a stud as well...

I'd be happy w/ Exum, or Vonleh because of their physical attributes.... Smart seems like a warrior, so I wouldn't be too disappointed w/ him.... Not sure how much I like him with Oladipo though. Wouldn't there be a little duplication there?

Of course I'd be ecstatic if somehow Wiggins or Parker slipped to us, but that's highly unlikely.... Only pick I wouldn't know whether to be happy or not, would be Embid.... I def wouldn't want to be in Rob's shoes if he's still there at 4....

Just don't know if I have the patience to wait and see if he pans out, after having to be patient with the progress of the team the past couple seasons.... I want somebody that's ready to go Day 1.... But that's just me being the selfish fan....

Def anxious.... Can't wait to see how it turns out.... Can only hope for the best....

Still undecided on who I would want to see get drafted at 4. Very good options to have at picking in that position. Possible players for me are Exum, Embiid, Smart, or Vonleh. Although here is what I'm kind of leaning towards

4. Marcus Smart- I really do like smart to be our PG of the future. I was originally wanting us to draft him last season before he decided on staying another year.

Dante Exum- with the injury of Embiid I definitely think Exum is going top 3.

Joel Embiid- The foot injury really scares me from drafting Embiid. The potential for him is huge. We need to be sure that we do all the research humanly possible before we take him at 4. We can't afford to waste one of our draft picks. Especially in this class.

Noah Vonleh- The good upside but he would be my most unlikely choice at 4.

As for pick 12 I'm thinking possibly Aaron Gordon, Dario Saric, and Tyler Ennis.

12. Aaron Gordon - Gordon would be my primary choice here at 12 if we are able to draft either Smart or Exum. I think he would be a good compliment to Vučević.

Dario Saric- If Gordon is gone then Saric is my next choice. Definitely will be a good stretch 4.

Tyler Ennis- Should we take either Embiid or Vonleh we will need to draft our PG. I think Ennis very well will be an All Star PG in this league will be a very solid player.

The best scenario is that we trade up. Only because if we do so, Henny believes he found a true superstar and he knew he had to get him no matter the cost.

Íf we took Embiid at 4, we would be back in the lottery for another year. I do not for see the organization being ok with purposely taking that step again. I fully see the Magic taking a player that can help them win now.

I see them using the 12th and one or more of our assets to move up to draft Smart if Exum is already taken or just doing that and drafting the best PF avail at 4. Or if they do take Embiid, they definitely try to get Smart later

Why not? We already gave everyone extensions after being horrible the first two years. What's one more?

Sign me up for Gordon. Wiggins, Parker and Exum will be gone by 4, I want Gordon over the injury risk Embiid and the hot head Smart.

Professional Analysts seem to think Smart would be a perfect fit with Oladipo. Makes me wonder if fans are just in love with the word "potential" as opposed to a rational pick.

IMO Payton is the perfect fit with Oladipo, over any PG/G in the draft. He's basically the same size as Smart, only 25 lbs lighter and has a 6'8" wingspan, Smart 6'7" wingspan. Neither are great shooters though,but could improve.

Last year, I was sure that Oladipo was our guy but being at 4 is making this tough for me. Honestly, I'm not sure but it's one of these three guys: Embiid, Smart or Exum. And for me, it's so close that I would base it off the workouts (for Smart and Exum). If neither blew us away AND Embiid checks out with our doctors, we should go with Embiid. If Smart or Exum wow'ed us, just take him.

I would still like to see us with Exum realistically or Parker unrealistically.

If we end up with Embiid I would be excited for the pick but very afraid.

Vonleh I can live with if Rob can.

Smart will have to grow on me if he's our pick.

This is going to be one scary draft. Embiid being injured like this still isn't as bad as if he just didn't declare at all. Gives us a better chance to get Exum. Embiid could still go top 3.

I'd like to see us draft Exum or trade up for Wiggins or Parker...but we have no way of knowing what the Magic are thinking. We're so tight lipped lately with Hennigan manning the front office, that it makes me doubt a lot of reports that have been coming out lately about who we're going to take. It has to be complete speculation.

I do believe in the facts though. Hennigan has to consider Embiid at #4 (He's been quoted on it recently), we've scouted Exum more than anyone, but because we've scouted him more than anyone, are we high on him or are we not as high on him despite popular belief?

Did we work out Parker or Wiggins? I'm just curious if there is any interest on our end in trading up for them, if our front office isn't as high on Exum as we think.

If Magic do trade up, it is only for Parker. He appears to be the only outright Potential Superstar of the draft. The rest are hit or miss All-Star potential being they all have glaring deficiencies.
