This was the most obvious move possible

Between his FSU ties and clifford, and our need for a bench SG, this was to obvious NOT to happen

He is listed as a G/F but he is a much more of guard.

We still need a legit SF.

Don’t know much about this guy, but he’s young and cheap. Guessing he’ll be the guy replacing Iwundu’s time at the 3. Here’s hoping for a couple trades to encourage the fan base. Because right now, I don’t plan on watching a ton of Magic basketball this year. Just trading Fournier would bring me back though.

Dwayne Bacon is not a bad signing. Clearly bench mob guy. Correct me if I am wrong, but I do remember a few years back when he was drafted there was some moderate buzz around here about him.

Wasn't he one of the stars at FSU on the team with Jonathan Isaac. Bacon was their primary scorer and Isaac was the defensive specialist on their 2017 team. He used to be a prolific scorer for FSU, right?

uhh....wth is going on? did we just overpay for dwyane frickin bacon? i distinctively remember him not being very good last year....what kind of operation is he pulling to get 13.5 m per? This can't be life.....lol

He signed for the league minimum. 1.7M next year.

i saw something pop up on my phone about the signing, it was the wrong numbers and didn't say anything about the team option and had an instant reaction.....i lost it

Def. think a change of scenery for Bacon could help. Char been a mess since he's been there.
His 18-19 numbers are better than Wes's. He's had to deal with Monk being drafted ahead of him same year I believe. Then their guard rotation this past season.

This is sad. I watched him a fair bit in his last year at FSU because of Isaac. I hated his game. He played his way out of Charlotte's rotation. He isn't a prospect. This stinks of Clifford. Free agency just opened. Shouldn't we have struck out with at least a dozen guys before we resorted to signing Bacon? How is this better than just snagging someone in the second round or keeping Wes?
