I thought AD's latest measurement has him 6'10 barefoot? When the league required all players to be measured barefoot during camp
He might've grown a bit? They did round up in those official measurements for last season whereas they didn't round up combine measurements.
Regardless, he looked a half-foot taller than Okeke. I know he wasn't that much taller. I'd guess Okeke's actual height is somewhere just south of 6'6". I think his long-term position is at the three with some switchability.
well yeah... being measure 6'9 1/4 when you are 19 and being measures 6'10ish years later is more commom than we thought.

That way he may finish in the top 10 3pt fg percentage.Viper1500 wrote:basketballRob wrote:The Magic had to have known they were going to win this one, based on the players that the Cavs sat.

Good thing we brought back Ennis for this one!

IDGAF about what he wants. He can sit, be paid, and be happy about it. I doubt we're sacrificing our future for a bench player's stats anyway.

Okeke is getting anything he wants against this Cavs team. Bad sign for the tank.
Also Kevin Love is just stealing money from the Cavaliers.

The odds of the Magic finishing the season on an 18-game losing streak were always astronomically low.

You can see tonight when he is matching up against Love who measured 6'7.75" at the combine. The point is that while we are playing him almost exclusively as a four, he is smaller than everyone he matches up against. Offensively it isn't really relevant, but at the defensive end, he is just much better off the ball, on the perimeter, and in passing lanes. He is especially good when he can crowd someone that is on their heels on the perimeter. He is also solid as a help defender when he can load up to protect the rim. In the post against bigger guys? That's a weakness. I'm hoping that he is being used the way he is due to our dearth of bodies at the four. I'm hopeful that he can be a three for us in the long term.

True, guess we were due for a w one of these days. I'll watch the rest of the game, maybe that'll change our fortunes

I would rather lose to a team that's not so close to us... losing this would be a double win

The Cavs just sat Dellavedova, Nance, Sexton, Prince, and Hartenstein before this game.
Obviously we were going to win after they sat those guys. Looks like the Cavs plan out not winning anymore games this year.

For the record I have always been on the " Chuma as the SF " bandwagon. Ive been beating the " he needs to slim down and be ripped " drums for so long already.
Yeah Love might have measure 6'8 at the combine but gis latest was almost 6'9 barefoot right? Unless that was a lie.
For whats it worth, chuma looks bigger and taller than Ennis on my screen. And isnt Ennis 6'7 with shoes?

I've seen this Magic team go on massive scoring droughts before. A lot of basketball left to be played in this game.
