I'm going to say this now - as much as I like Suggs, he's not a very good player right now. If no Suggs today results in more Cole and we get "good Cole" AND Harris does an ok job, we can win this.

That was by design. People are criticizing Mosley, but you can see what he is trying to do. He is trying to get Wagner involved. Our first two plays were Wagner/WCJ PnRs. Nothing has gone right for Wagner as of yet, but I like it. He also has Wagner defending Trae with Cole on Huerter.

Cole got off to a good start. He made three really simple reads that yielded three baskets for teammates. That jump pass was a head-scratcher though.

Oh for sure, the plays were well defended as well, but with experience he might pull that back out or put another move on.

Man I'm hoping to see Chuma find his form from last year, he's really struggled

Naaah. Think of it this way, without that trade for Vuc, do you think they would have the guts gor a revamp right now by signing DDR, Ball, Caruso, and whatever moves to surrounf the Vuc-Lav tand in order to compete?

Besides, with Lav and DDR offense, they need the threat of Vuc'a offense in order to keep the defense honest for their primarybscorers otherwose Vuc would punish them downlow. If they just have a defensove C, that defender wpuld cheat a lot to help cover ddr and lav

That's how you rationalize it, for sure. I think Vuc's ball movement certainly helps the other guys out at the offensive end, but when you weigh up the pieces, it certainly seems to slant in our favor.

True.. lets put it this way, both our teams have different goals. We wanted to rebuild and get stars to grow.. they wanted to compete and make sure Zach stays with them. Both with the intention of getting out of the "treadmill team" tag. But yeah as an Magic fan, i personally think wr got the better end of the deal as well...

Their GM is relatively new and was looking to make big moves. That Vuc trade was not good. They would be much better off today with WCJ, Franz, their pick next year and cap space for another rotation piece.

This is trying to develop Elf, Dipo, Harkless, Tobias, Mario, Vuc, and Evan at the same time all over again.

Everyone wants to prove that they are a star and no one gets enough reps (or the right reps) to develop.
