So next year...
PG: Fultz, Anthony
SG: Suggs, Hampton
SF: F. Wagner, Okeke
PF: Jabari (or Chet), Isaac
C: Carter, M. Wagner
That top 10 is semi interesting on its own, and the Magic would have $30M to spend if they wanted to.
Now if they wanted to more or less punt that money to 2023, they could just resign Bamba and Harris to 1-year deals to slide into Hampton and M. Wagner's spots.

I would resign Gary if we're not going to go after a better scoring guard/wing. Then I would target TJ Warren to take Okeke's spot. I'm good with Jabari or Chet. A Franz/Jabari P&R would be very interesting on offense but a WCj/Chet pairing on defense could be special...

If we grab Jabari or Chet, we should absolutely bring back Harris. Rj and Chuma seem like they are the ones about to lose playing time. Harris provides good guard play and solid leadership.
Fultz/Suggs
Harris/Anthony
F.Wagner/Chuma
1st pick/JI
WCJ/Wagner or Vet

Worst 3pt shooting backcourt in the NBA by far.

They could sign Simons, move Fultz into a bench role and dump Anthony

Re: Who do you want us to take at #1?
I think Jabari the pick. Chet would intrigue me but know we'd be playing the waiting game. Paulo just feel like poor man Carmelo. Might crack an all-star team or two but won't carry a team. It's between Chet or Jabari but I'd side Jabari
The hero Orlando deserves is out there somewhere, Dwight was not the one we needed. So we will hunt for him...

I like Simons. He'd push Suggs first probably. Do you think Portland wouldn't match?

Re: Who do you want us to take at #1?
First of all, I don’t think you consider trading the pick unless you get a rare mega deal. We don’t just give up our shot at a top prospect for anything short of a huge haul.
As of now, I lean Jabari. I think he fits what the team needs more and has the potential to be our best wing player since T-Mac. Chet has some rare potential too, and I know he will be tough for this FO to pass up. I don’t think Chet’s relationship with Suggs will factor into our decision, but it can’t hurt that he already has chemistry with one of the top prospects on your roster. I think either pick is a good way to go. These two are the best two players and the best chances of being that perennial All Star caliber player we have desperately needed since Dwight.

I've been on team Chet all year, but after today I have been talked up onto Jabari and Banchero.
Chet is still my guy but if the FO thinks Isaac can come back, I'm okay with looking at Jabari or Paolo

If you had asked me that four months ago, I’d have said they are absolutely matching.
But it sure seems like Portland is going to try and reload around Lillard. Using their cap space to sign talent and their lotto pick to acquire more talent.
Simons seems like he’s best suited to be playing PG and not SG and if they don’t move Lillard, I could see them letting him walk. Especially if they think they can land a guy like LaVine.

Congrats on the first pick guys!! Great day for Kings and Magic fans!
I've seen some of you say Sharpe/Ivey and possibly trading down with Houston. I'm curious how teams in the top 3 will end up evaluating the 3 forwards.
Is Isaac expected to be ready anytime soon? Wonder if he's factoring into the decision on trading down for that guard next to Suggs.

NO... as have been said, JI is just the cherry on top. We draft BPA or whoever without putting JI as a factor.
Also, we do kinda need a PF. Especially with the uncertainty of Bamba's contract and etc.

Been Holmgren whole year long.
I still have tinglings every time somebody pushes him or camera zooms his shoulders, arms & legs, but from skill perspective, you can't "develop" what he has. Natural tools and instict for a game is there.
Durability and ability to not be like shorty -Shawn Bradley will be question marks going into nba without question.
Jabari "fits" roster, but when you win lottery with 22 wins whole year long, fit is last thing you should worry about, if you have any talent you would not suck so badly.
I'm more interested what they will do in free agency than on draft night. Only suprising thing that can happend on draft night is if they NOT draft neither Chet nor Jabari. But i simply can't see Hammond and Weltman doing anything suprising. First overall pick brings lot of media attention, they won't gamble, they spent 7 years living in shadow from media.

Re: Who do you want us to take at #1?
I was down on Chet compared to the basketball community when he burst onto the scene as someone billed as like KD or some 7' point guard or something. His frame is frail, but he's got everything you can ask for from a modern front court guy. He's long as hell, mobile, skilled with the ball, and he relishes playing good defense and attacking the glass. He was highly productive on a winning, top tier program too, I think people overlook that.
I don't think he's a #1 scorer, MVP talent just on offense, but there's no reason he can't be a 20+ scorer, a floor spacer, a + passer, and a top tier rim protector. He plays hard, he's smart, he loves basketball, it's all there.
His frame might never fill out, but if it does, his potential is top notch. He has a high floor and a high ceiling, I think he plays winning basketball from day 1.
Also, he's a real 7'. He's not 7' like all the 6'9 and 6'10 guys in the league that get called a 7 footer. They might call him 7'2 at the NBA level lol.
He's what all those big, supposedly skilled shooting/shot blocking "unicorns" are supposed to be. The ones that people fall in love with, despite not really producing at any level, and still get drafted super high.
I wouldn't overthink it here.

Re: Who do you want us to take at #1?
I choose "other" as Mr. Trade-down was not an option. Taking the #1 pick will hurt the cap. And the player Orlando "wants" can probably be found at 2, 3, or 4 as well.
For example: Orlando can probably swap picks with OKC and get a couple of their future low firsts in that. That is a asset upgrade. Such a trade also saves 1M a year in cap space.

One reason I am happy: Orlando will now not-draft-Ivey. That pleases me very much.
Orlando needs PF depth and a PF is coming to Orlando.

Fine print disclaimer for Fultz:
I am high on Markelle Fultz. Yes I understand he is not perfect and needs to shoot more and better and turn the ball over less. I would really like to see him play one more year… and I did and he sucks time to move on.
