Okeke actually looked pretty good in the starting lineup last couple of games.
If only he can improve his 3-pt shooting, he can be a cheap 3&D player.

He projects to be a good 3&d player right out of college. Just havent gotten the opportunity, and he usually starts the season slow.
His STOCKS numbers are great and is a respectable shooter coming out of college. With more repetition, he’ll carve out a niche in the league
With the analytics favoring STOCKS, I would’t be surprised if he gets moved to a championship contender soon. Those stats are valuable and his shooting is respectable too.

Typical white guy for white guy comparison.
Franz reminds me of better Kyle Anderson
Actually... the way Franz drives, sidesteps and lays it in is ALL peak-Manu. So I can see where that comes from.

Never watched him in college did he ever drive to the basket or mostly camped out on the 3 pt line? I wish he would use his size and attack the rim more but maybe after seeing what happened to his teammates he's worried about another major injury?

I really like Chuma’s D, size and mobility in the starting lineup. When Paolo comes back I’d consider moving Bol to the bench and letting him score against 2nd stringers. Chuma isn’t one our our best five players but he may fit better with the starters just like Mikael Bridges or Dillon Brooks. So start Suggs/Franz/Chuma/Paolo/Carter and bench is Bol/Ross/Hampton/Bamba/Houstan. When guys come back move them into 2nd unit. Imagine a 2nd unit of Fultz/G Harris/Ross/Isaac/Bol. Anthony would be the best 11th man in the league.

This is the way. I have mixed feeling about Bol becouse he provides rim protection next to Banchero and Franz but on the other hand he is easly exploitable 1 vs 1 and hunted by better scorers. I like him the most next to Banchero when Franz an Carter are resting.
My money is on Banchero going number 1 !

Lol what? When? I just searched in your and mine history, and i can't find anything.
Last time you mentioned Ginobili was "Poor man's GInobili" for Karim Mane
And last time i mentioned Ginobili it was in some context of shooting motion for players who shoot with left hand
Maybe i did, but i don't remember , nor my history does

This is becoming a very interesting group of players to watch. When fultz and Isaac come back the lineup could go a bunch of different directions. I've been advocating for chuma to be in the starting lineup all offseason and not seen much support here. He is the best defender on the team. Suggs and Isaac are really good too.
Imagine a lineup of
Suggs/fultz/cole
Franz/Ross/RJ
Chuma/Bol
PB/WCJ/mo w
Isaac/Bamba/mo w
I hate the idea of fultz not starting but he showed last year that he can play with anyone and that second group is a pretty impressive group. I could easily see rj replacing Ross. His shooting is pretty good and his defense is much better.
Now this starting group has 3 outstanding individual and help defenders and 2 guys that are very talented offensively without giving up anything on the defensive end.

I think the answer to me is Bol needs to play with someone who can distribute, and the only real distributor is Franz. If Fultz ends up starting, Bol needs to be in that unit. If he remains on the bench then I could see Bol making that move.

Okeke was Mr. Lockdown these last two games. And the Magic did what in both?
