we're trying to win. whatever it takes. I love that we're not forcing things. Now, if the offense wasn't working, yeah, you need to figure out how to get Paolo and Franz their looks. No need to get away from team basketball otherwise.

The challenge with lots of passing is there's always one guy on the court that has no remorse jacking up shots. 8-)

Anyway, the coaching staff will settle things down eventually. Let the players figure it out on the court for themselves early in the season.

Yeah, we may or may not want Suggs as one of our top options. I'm leaning towards NOT

I think we easily get a play in spot this year assuming we don't get hit hard by injuries

Love love love how hard Jalen plays. I am fine with starting him at the two. As long as Mosely realizes Cole needs to stay in towards the end most games. He has the ability to play off ball because he can shoot, we will need that at the end of games. He has always been my 3rd guy behind Cole and Fultz. Suggs is great for the team but I've always felt his skill was way behind Cole and Markelle. I hope he can find the stroke and be a great 2 guard...I just think Cole needs to be closing games with the starter ala Lou Williams. I like Suggs energy starting games, I love Cole's energy off the bench.

JI is such a game changer man. He has always been in the short spurts he has been able to play. I hope that kid can stay healthy he changes everything for us. If Fultz and JI can just stay healthy we are a playoff squad.
The hero Orlando deserves is out there somewhere, Dwight was not the one we needed. So we will hunt for him...

Isaac was huge too, but I voted Cole. Not only did he score the most but I thought he was really impressive on defense. He was fighting big time and 8 rebounds for a pg is obviously great

I think we could fight for 6-8 if our bench can usually outplay other ones. Just like Rashard Lewis said, 6-8 seed.

But wait.. 95% of our board would have voted together to cut Isaac a few months ago..

Vest - Cole Anthony with the swagger and the contract
Cumberbund - Jonathan Isaac for MAKING A PRESENCE
Mittens - Franz Wagner for making me think he's the #1 star on the team in the 1st quarter (despite Banchero's team-high 5 AST:1 TO and team-high 7 FTA)

We did the "by committee" thing mose keeps saying.....against better teams though paolo getting only 6 shots isn't going to work....by comparison cade got 27 shots tonight.....he only dropped 30 but still....we won so it isn't really a big deal.......yet

I'll admit it i never thought he'd ever get to to this level of play, poor guy his first year he just ran 100mph to either get a brick or turn it over.

The knock that most drives me nuts on here about Cole is that "he is who he is".

I mean, it couldnt be further from reality. He's the draftee who has most evolved on this roster, gradually but consistently. And he continues to do so.

What he can't change is being 6'2". But other than that, his ceiling is still open-ended.

Orlando won this game because of strong defensive rebounding and ELITE offensive rebounding. So: my votes are based on rebounding leaders.

Vest - Anthony. He again proves how skilled he is on the boards.
Cummerbund - Carter. His 4 offensive boards was part of Orlando's dominance in 2nd chance points.
Mittens - Fultz. Not only was he strong leading the starters, his 3 offensive rebounds were also super important.

I go Franz, he set the tone right from the start. the back to back to back 3s got the whole team cooking.
When Cole checked in we had a 10 pt lead.
Major shout out to the WHOLE 2nd unit who scored 44 points and had 25 rebs!

I couldn’t even fall asleep last night because I was so excited about the Magic last night.

We legitimately looked like a good team last night.

Of course people are saying that Houston is terrible and bla bla bla but I don’t care.

I’m excited about this western road trip so early into the season

this team is very good. If they can stay healthy, we'll fight for a play off spot in the east. The only concern I had was seeing Suggs chuck it over and over. He finally stopped, but man he needs to accept his role right now.

Return to Orlando Magic
