Big 12 is pretty wide open. It'll probably come down to which team has the ball bounce their way in a few key moments and stays healthy.

Here's hoping for a good season! Only 4 days left to go!

Well is was a "pre-season" warmup game for a reason. This is why the top-50 teams always play cupcake U to start out the campaign.
Jefferson did account for three TDs overall. And given the yardage average on the 7 completions, had a monster RTD score.

Yea I don't want to overreact to a single bad game, but this is what i've heard about KJ previously. he's wildly inconsistent and it's a roller coaster with him. Some games he'll look like a heisman, others he'll look like he did last night.

Hopefully he shakes off the first game jitters, settles down, and plays better. UCF definitely needs to lean into the running game, as our RB group is INSANELY talented.

I didnt get to watch last night, just saw the gamecast. Disappointing to hear about the QB situation, was hoping to get away from the all-or-nothing situation they were in last year.

It was fairly startling just how bad the throws were last week given the hype. Hopefully not an indication of how the season will go.

Not sure who here saw RJ Harvey play QB at Edgewater. But at his height the switch to running back makes since if his goal is to make a career in the NFL.

And boy do his running stats look great.
134 yrds per game. 8.9 yrds/carry average.

For me his amazing stat is: RJ Harvey is averaging one TD for every 5 carries. That's insane.
Reminds me of that 90s quote, "all he does is score touchdowns".
