Bane is a great fit but that’s a lot of draft capital. Especially trading that Suns first rounder. I dunno how to feel about this.

I love the player, and he's definitely a huge upgrade over kcp, but jeez that's a crazy amount of picks. But hey worked out for the Knicks with bridges so not unheard of, just a little crazy

But like other said, didn't have to give up black, still have other young guys like jett and Tristan and still have guys like goga for trade bait while keeping one of our picks this year, so can't hate on the deal

i know how much this board has loved bane over the years so definitely exciting so see how his addition helps this team

Bane is on long term contract and very, very good player, but price tag for a guy that isn't clear cut superstar is flat out I.N.S.A.I.N.

That is type of haul you are proposing to get prime Durant, Lebron, Giannis, not fringe all star player that really isn't fixing some issues you already have on roster.

From salary cap POV, Banchero + Suggs + Franz + Bane = $160M in 2026-27

I guess our C rotation will continue to be Goga, Carter and Isaac for rest of this decade


Magic now have, from 2025-2031 - two first round picks. Not very valuable 25th pick ( way too late) and 2027 first round pick.

Bane helps shooting issues. Bane adds to our shooting.
But Bane isn't very durable player, isn't really young ( 27, pretty much in his prime) and isn't full time playmaker.


Tbh this feels like panic move made by person who is in fear for his job. Esencially, this is Ibaka trade, just in this case Ibaka has more years left on his deal.
But Hennigan didn't sold 6 round picks for Ibaka, just one.

Bane has averaged 5.4 APG over the last two seasons. He's an underrated passer/playmaker.
