My AI Internet sleuthing partner says to watch for Cody Toppert, Thomas Bridges and in-house candidate Dylan Murphy. I think Triano was the first option.

I was listening to the RealGM podcast last week, and they were talking about whether the abysmal shooting was on the players or the scheme. They mentioned there was frustration in the locker room last year over the offense.

Feels like they needed to get some support in for Mosley. Probably a make or break for him this year. Seems like it should be like football an offensive and defensive coordinator.

If KCP goes back to shooting 40% this year, then it should be clear that its the scheme.

Thomas Bridges is also in-house.

Dylan Murphy is a very good basketball coach btw. The bits and pieces I’ve seen and heard from him have been super encouraging.

The team shooting was pretty good the year before (for a lot of bad shooters as well).

It was obviously the scheme. No point guard and watching two players attempt to drive to the basket every possession just isn’t conducive to getting guys open.

I think Denver having such great post play created many open 3's for KCP. Magic never played that way.

Apparently his nickname is PruntDawg lol and by the comments from Bucks fans about the news we got us a real one. Many say better than Doc himself and would have preferred hiring Prunty as HC.

Definitely a player/fan favorite, I’m geeked.

I don't think Prunty is an offensive system type coach, more like a tactician type coach. It seems more like a counterbalance to Mosley's player-relationship focus.

We brought in tactical (Prunty) and skill development (Shamgod) chops to compliment the coaching staff. These aren't system overhaul type moves but instead system enhancement type moves.

Stein says he'll be the lead assistant.

Orlando is hiring Milwaukee's Joe Prunty as the new top aide to Jamahl Mosley, league sources say. The Magic will be the ninth NBA stop for Prunty, who worked alongside Mosley when both were assistants in Cleveland and has served as an interim coach in both Atlanta and Milwaukee.

Jessie Mermuys. Now we won't have to listen to his annoying halftime comments.
