Yeah this....

Tmacs prime was better than Kobe.

Shaq prime is MDE.

Only if he played defense as good as Kobe.

They got Suggs and Franz for the D

The question was that TMac's prime was better than Kobe's as individual talents. 8-)

Ah... but who knows what would happen if Tmac didnt have to carry the bums we had on our team. We practically made him a traffic xonenon defense cuz we had no ne else who can score.

Just imagine what Penny would do in today's NBA...a bigger, better Haliburton. He was born too soon. We all remember him, but I think he's criminally underrated when one considers his prime years (spent in Shaq's formidable shadow). Shaq would still be a star, but not as dominant in today's NBA. Penny was All-NBA too and this era would suit him even better.

I'll disagree. I don't really know of anyone who can challenge Shaq. I think he would steamroll. The question is, could you build a team around him to slow down the opponents 3 ball enough to make up for Shaws 2-ball.

IIRC the year Dwight Howard got his ring, he had an insane FG% granted he wasn't carrying the offense, but you cannot deny a similar outcome for Shaq.

Not only is this a great collection of players, but it is extremely balanced. I love that team.

p.s. is Billups the only NBA champion on the list?

Like I said, Shaq would be a star…but Penny would be a PERFECT 2025 Lead Guard.
