I still cant belive Mike Malone is unemployed. Jenkins is attractive as has history with Bane and ran a top offense in memphis.

Its fairly obvious that Paolo and Franz doesnt work together. I’d trade PB in a heartbeat but I know the organization wont.

Re: POLL: Jamahl Mosley Replacement Possibilities
Stan Van Gundy - based on the names on the list, he would be the best.
Jeff Gundy - honestly? This team was built for his coaching style and philosophies.
Eyriq - Why isn't this guy on the list? If the two above aren't available, might as well go with the rookie signing.
Edit : To make it interesting I also want VFX as an assistant coach. He must be miced up every game.

Don't think it matters. This will be the obsession of the year along with T.Jones. While just ignoring the reality that the players just aren't as good as you think they are and that things don't fit in a way that maximizes your highest paid players who once again aren't as good as you think they are.

I think firing Mosley will lead to dividing the locker room and a whole lot more headaches and implosion

Bringing back SVG would be funny as hell.

If the team is struggling after 15 games in a season in which Conference finals was the target; I don't think backlash or feelings would even be a topic. At least I hope not.
Agree... we know this group will click. Question is, how fast. Bear in mind the oldest "vet" is probably Bane who is the newcomer. So we got that problem...

I doubt he'd want the headache of coaching again. When he was here before, his wife was still alive, and his child was still in school.I Rasharted wrote:Bringing back SVG would be funny as hell.
Malone is in the same coaching tree as SVG
I think the team misses Jesse Mermuys.

This is actually the truth. Mose will be the scapegoat. But this team is built for a league that doesn’t exist anymore.

funny considering you guys cant even make the playins, and now youre **** on other teams forums cuz you starting 3-0. go back to watching embiid's matador defense. we won more games then you guys with 4 of our 5 best players missing huge parts of the season

I don't recall anyone asking 76ers fans for their opinions. It's waaaay too early for you to be getting this cocky.

This thread is WAY too soon.
With that said, I voted for Becky.
But I've always wanted her.

Brian Hill the real OG
BHill is the product of his teams.
Take away his big stars and he'd be a G-League coach.

Wow, and Skiles has fallen off the face of the Earth, since he quit the Magic in 2016.
I hope he's okay. Still one of my favorite players and even coaches.

I haven't seen that side of Paolo...but he's a star now and needs to be convinced. It's fun to talk tough about coaching but that's not how it works beyond high school anymore. Bad coaching wastes a player's prime if he's not used correctly...
I don't even know what the answer is as to how best to deploy Paolo...but he and Franz are a unique combination of size and skill, now supported by two very good shooting guards ...somebody making millions of dollars and devoting their professional lives to this science should be excited to create something with these pieces.

The great coaches get players to buy in and adapt to the team's needs. The great coaches marry "how to win in today's league" with "what tools do I have at my disposal" and they cook up a system that fits players abilities to the formula for winning.
In Orlando's case, I don't think there's a skill shortage (albeit we don't have a classic PG). In other words, the toolbox is relatively full.
But the end product is poor because the coach doesn't know how to get the player collective to mesh in a winning way. Individual players aren't adapting well, nor is the gameplan they're adapting to the best for the team.
That doesn't absolve players. They have to be the ones adapting. But it's square peg round hole stuff all over the place.
