There's nothing wrong with being an atheist imo, but don't throw it in our faces.

Me, I pray to Jesus, Allah, and Buddah nightly. Just to be safe.

Scientology is pretty dangerous. Their organization has killed people, kidnapped people, and kicked people out of the country.

Wow, I thought Will Smith had enough upstairs not to be fooled by the Super Midget (Tom Cruise). I really want to meet Cruise one day, so I can bitch slap that **** back to the planet Zarcon. I for one could care less if the Dark Overlord is gonna be pissed. Oh well, Hollywood still has good ol' Steven Seagal. We at least knew he was weird 20 years ago.

Smith is one of my fav actors. It sounds like he was looking into Scientology at least the last three yrs. I had some odd feeling he was reeling if not thinking towards joining that false religion. Well, that his life, his business.

They've been courting him for awhile and I think Jada was into it already. I'm disappointed by it.

"Dude, let's go out and get matching tattoos! I love you man! We're so flipping rich!" I cannot believe the Fresh Prince of Bel Air is such tight buds with wacky ol' Tom Cruise. And after reading that Will Smith was talking about his studies of Scientology, I was sure that he'd given up trying to fight his conversion to the spaceship teachings. But now he's saying that he's not a Scientologist and doesn't "necessarily believe in organized religion." At a press event for his film, "I Am Legend," Will cleared up any rumors that he had joined the pricey church by saying, ""I love my God, my higher power, but it is mine and mine alone, and I create my connection, and I decide how my connection is going to be." Mine's high-speed. Me and God like to instant message a lot.

Will Smith: Scientology Wasn't for Me

Will Smith may have studied Scientology with pal Tom Cruise, but he says his faith rests in his own spirituality.

"I don't necessarily believe in organized religion," Smith, 39, said when asked about Scientology Friday at a junket for his upcoming film I Am Legend.

"I love my God, my higher power, but it is mine and mine alone, and I create my connection, and I decide how my connection is going to be," he added.

Describing himself as a "student of world religions," Smith

I Am Legend was ok, but the highlight of that movie was seeing The Dark Knight Trailer before it.

Hmm...if you're serious with your retort, try looking into the sarcasm of my post.

Well, thats why I included the first part of my sentence. I thought you were sarcastic, but I had a problem misinterpreting someone else recently, so I wasn't gonna assume it again. 8)

Let's review here:

An omnipotent being creates human life and the universe

vs.

An alien sends away souls to Earth which are then trapped there and stuffed inside human bodies, in which case only controlling your thetin levels can save you

One of these is a tad bit less practical of an idea in general.
