Bingo!! Especially with a 3 point lead, why cheat to help out on a 2 point shot that you might be called for a foul on!!!

JJ should be getting Kebo's minutes, because the last few weeks Kebo has been getting raped against anyone he defends. At first I thought he was getting unlucky because he would face up well. But guys are blowing by him and Kebo doesn't have the speed to keep up. Also, his help defense has been bad (i.e. Ray Allen 3).

I seriously want to try JJ on Rip the next time we play because Kebo was literally yards away from the masked man coming around screens.

Sounds like trade bait on one hand from Otis but on the other I haven't known Stan to be one to play with players minds. IF he does stay I expect him to get serious burn in the weaker second half of the schedule.

I also have my doubts that you can really talk up a players value in this league while he's on the bench and what Otis says about the guard situation rings true. That and he is obviously concerned about JJ doing well when he leaves.

1. LOL
2. LLLLLLLLLOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLL

Seriously though.Rip runs off more screens than anyone since reggie miller. Redick is a twig and would be imprinted in Maxiell, wallace, etc's body.

I think Otis is hiding Redick

I seriously think that this is more of a tuck-away and hide move. For example, say we play JJ now and he lights it up. If we wanted to trade for a bigger point guard or PF, teams would want him included in any deal that we make....

ok, then why isnt he playing? stan said he practices great and plays well in games..i didnt think he would be traded his time will come

He doesn't play because when he gets on the court, the other team picks on him like they stole his lunch everyday for the past year. Our D is already suspect, and bringing in JJ to guard RIP or anyother elite 2 guard just isn't fair to the kid. He'll get his time, we just don't have any problems scoring points right now.
Whether you think you CAN or you think you CAN'T, you're right.

I have to agree Pedro. The Magic's D is not good and Redick getting significant floor time means we likely lose ground in games even more. I'd just assume we trade him for a position of need like a PF, PG or a SG that can defend.
You look confused...let me fill you in.

I still wonder how in the hell Bogans gets more minutes than Reddick. Bogans is garbage on both sides, while Reddick will at least score and make his open jump shots. Reddick should be getting at least 20 to 25 minutes a night.

Of course he shouldn't start, not with Evans playing out of his mind on both ends of the court.

Bogans deserves a lot of love, he hits big 3's all the time...people fail to realize, when we're watching a team like the Spurs and Bowen drills a 3 in our faces and we're just like "agh man that guy kills us from beyond the arc" that's basically the same thing people say about Bogans now...dont take it away from him...not to mention over the last 10 games he's be way more aggressive to the basket...not like he scores in bunches around the iron, but he finishes well usually...

I agree with theif bogans is key...Hes always hitting big threes and lately has been finishing around the rim, even when he gets fouled.

This whole redick situation is weird tho.

Everyones like i have no clue why redick doesnt play at all.

and the GM and coach are like he plays great and hes a great player, yet they do nothing.

its like they are hiding something

His value is clearly pi.

I seem to think there is a VERY SMALL chance JJ goes anywhere.. Why? JJ gets a lot of love from SVG all the time, and with the way our back court was playing for a while that we have been trying to get one of our SG's stats up so he can look nice to suitors, and JJ will mvoe up into the lineup after trade deadline.

IMO JJ will get BIG minutes after deadline, and I think one or more of our guards will be gone after deadline, with us getting another SF/PF or PF/C onto the team.. It's been all too quiet on the Orlando front as of lately, and we all know what this team needs.. It's no secret.

We all know that sometime this team cannot execute on offense, JJ bring that. We all know that this team is known as a stand around the perimeter and feed Dwight..But JJ will be on the court running off of screens and working the other teams SG constantly, such as a RIP Hamilton or Reggie Miller type player.

This team needs a few things IMO and all will be done by deadline..

Bogans needs to be traded
Arroyo needs to be traded
JJ needs to move into the rotation

Bogans and Arroyo need to be sent maybe with Garrity to a team with a good PF and lack at the Back court. GSW for example, they have a good amount of SF/PF's on their team and with the addition of Webber I think that makes Harrington VERY expandable..I think a

Bogans
Arroyo

For

Harrington

would do...

I know they don't have the roster space, but maybe a third team could be involved for Bogans or they could make anotehr roster spot for him.

Maybe we pull in DS for the remainder of the season..

And maybe we could do another deal for a Center involving Dooling and Garrity, Evans maybe?

Nelson/Stoudamire/
Evans/JJ/
Lewis/Harrington/
Hedo/Cook/Auggie
Dwight/Evans/Foyle

IR:Gortat

Anyways, off of my little rant, I think JJ will be here for the long haul, look at players like Korver,Boobie,Mobley,Kapono,Mo Pete all known for shooting, and NOT defense.. and they either start or play major minutes at the SAME position.

As long as he keeps the pi away from Cook.

at least we've got some answers now. that's all i was askin for in a thread the other day. maybe Otis and Stan read my message?

either way, it bugs me that JJ gets no PT and i'm pretty sure that he'll take the first chance he can to leave the team. and why should he stick around?

Stan's gotta find ways to put him in. and it's not like there aren't opportunities. for example, when Bogans isn't drilling threes like Theif says (how about the large amount of games where bogans goes 2-8 or worse. that's not Bowen's like numbers).

i'm all for giving Evans + Bogans their due time as well, i just feel like JJ can be used better.

that said, i'm actually seriously happy to at least hear some feedback on JJ. props to SVG and Otis for givin some answers about the kid finally!!

when jj plays, his defense isnt that bad at all, he plays garbage minutes and plays against the backup 2 guard or so..and he usually plays better...i agree that he isnt ready for the elite 2 guards, but who realy is

I think Bogans and MO evans have combined to make 1 full SG, they both seem like really good back-ups
