I'm just using MIN because I know it best, but I'm saying you guys are in the driver's seat. If you go to the bottom 12 teams in the league, and a few others that are over the lux, you guys can grab some production. from any of them. You don't have to be held up by SEA, and forced to give away many of your perks. Cap relief is king right now.

If we do anything it'll be something smaller than anything that has been speculated. I'd hope for a deal for Kurt Thomas where we don't take on an unusable player or unfavorable contract.

I'll eat my keyboard if we get Haslem or Wilcox before the deadline.

Its either that or nothing. I think its more likely that we do absolutely nothing so i voted for that.

If the brad miller and garcia deal was on the table and mumbleman said no he should be fired. Well actually he should have been fired months ago, but this is just another reason to do it.

i dont think you should lable him a mumbleman until we see what happens. its obvious he was the stronger man getting us cook and evans. and he could still improve us depending on how tomorrow ends at 3 pm. and right now i think you might be the mumbling idiot if you actually think hes gonna trade jj

EasternMagic = Otis Smith

So Otis do you like our team and are you going to pull this strings on one of these deals or not. Inquiring minds want to know.

ORL GETS: Craig Smith, Jaric, Chris Richard
MIN GETS: Garrity, Augustine, Gortat

I like that trade as we would be deep as hell, only thing is we are trading away our 3 most unused pieces and getting back 3 that SVG would want to find sometime for imo

if we then made another trade using bogans and arroyo that would sweet

We either do nothing for dump J.J. for nothing. I'm inclined to go with the latter, as Otis has so adamantly held that he wouldn't.

I went with Kurt thomas. If Otis can't even do that then its time for fireotis.com

The bar has never been set lower. teams are getting players for nothing in ridiculous trades so I have to think the atmosphere is ripe to get a half decent big somewhere without much fuss.

i agree, but i think seattle wants to unload another player with thomas...trading an expiring for expirings makes no sense for seattle unless a redick or bogans are involved.

+1
If you're only willing to deal expirings, then you've got to take on the contract of Watson or Ridnour.

I also think we're gonna get Kurt Thomas..I heard they want to dump Watson, Ridnour, or Wilkins. Which I hope we get one of the pg's. We don't need another mediocre sg. Watson preferably.

Similar to Brewster's Millions, I vote for none of the above. Well actually "A Trade but none of the above"

I think we're going to do something with our expirings, as our options will be limited in the off-season and a trade now doesn't eat into the LLE/MLE.

Thats not why i use mumbling references when talking to him. Have you ever heard him talk?

If otis smith cant flip our expiring contracts and young talent for a good player he really needs to be fired. Kurt Thomas sucks and would NOT be counted as a good player. It would be counted as another otis smith type of player, another brian cook if you will.
