Still a no. Star players are those who can put the ball down and score. Aaron isnt that kind of guy. Still think he is a Glorified Trevor Ariza. Which isnt bad, but definitely not star. Imo.

There's star players who fit the mould AG seems to be headed for. Super star level? No. But Millsap type guy is considered a star and I can see AG at that level.

The signs are good but he's played 2 games. Let's revisit this at 10 games.

I want him to be an elite talent and certainly this was a huge game, but it's his second game of the season.

It's still really early, but one thing is for sure there's a noticeable difference in his demeanor and much more confidence in his shot. He's more controlled and deliberate and not just kind of going around crazy sometimes trying to make a play that's not there.

I wasn't as high on Exum as many were. He was playing against inferior competition down in Australia. Now I'm not saying he's isn't talented and doesn't belong in the league but AG had (and still has) a much higher upside. It was known that he was going to be a project player for whoever drafted him and it seems like it's starting to pay off big time now.

I still hold my original opinion that it depends on your definition of star. I don't see him becoming a super star type player because he isn't a creator type of guy, but the millsap type star level i can see happening.

How much is this down to T-Mac working with him? he looks a lot more confident in general

Certainly can't hurt to develop T-Mac's mentality. I could see AG getting an all-star nod or two. I just think he is an athletic Draymond. He really really needs a number 1 alpha dog scorer to really take off I think. I don't see him getting into that elite superstar level. I hope I'm dead wrong and he does, last night was a hell of a start. AG is easy to root for so I hope he gets there.

Also here is a video on why certain players get injured so often and others don't. I've never taken this stuff into consideration. But this video does a great job drawing out running and landing habits. AG doesn't have bad ones. He runs on his toes and usually lands on two feet. I don't think he will have knee issues. No player is safe but this video kind of opened a new perspective to me. Worth a gander and another reason we probably should extend Aaron.

The hero Orlando deserves is out there somewhere, Dwight was not the one we needed. So we will hunt for him...

I dont think working with tmac for a week changed his entire game. I think working with a sports psychologist and meditation improved his confidence, and working in the off season to improve his shot is whats changed his game. I feel like tmac can teach him the nuances of a game, like getting the refs attention when theres contact, Reading defenses, things like that. If it continues to translate then its mostly on Gordon. Tonigh'ts a good test for the team because I feel like we need to really improve defensively. Were not going to be able to just rely on our scoring.

Cool, I didn't know he did that.

Playing with Lebron probably helped a lot too.

I’ve said for a while I see a Draymond in him, I also think he has a perfect supporting cast with Fournier, Isaac, Simmons, Ross, and Vucevic, we are an alpha away as you said. I even think Payton could start if he developed and Fournier goes to the bench for the star, that’s what we’re missing. We need to be a deep playoff team capable of attracting a star as the final piece, or trade outside of Gordon and Isaac for that guy (more likely), we’ll need players to step but and become desirable though

Gordon is gonna blow it up this year. Expect a contract in the $20M per year range.

Oct 6 - 29 Yes's, 59 No's.

Oct 26 - 45 Yes's, 62 No's.

Nice spike! I'm anxious for the day the Yes's overtake the No's. :D

Oh thats fine. I dont see why i should overreact over one game.

Especially when ive been saying ever since that he cant break down an offense and has to rely on teammates to be able to score.

People said the same stuff last year when he put up 30 plus."it's ONE game".

Well, it's been more than one game. He is starting to show a pattern of a higher level of play.

AG is more Marion than T-Mac. That said we need to hope to put a well-balanced offensive team around our Shawn Marion.
