EP balling out? I’m watching the Spurs against the Jazz right now.

EDIT- Just saw the post above mine. Elf about to take my fantasy team to new heights lol. Gonna switch to that game after this Spurs game finishes up.

Payton is probably playing with fire after being dropped. I imagine it will fizzle out...but who knows, this organization makes bad calls on players all the time.

I was thinking of tuning in on the spurs jazz... mainly to watch Mitchell though

This isn't a draft threat but aside from his defense, every thing about his game is everything we need in a PG. People criticize his shot selection but have you seen his team? He's playing with dudes that wouldn't make it to a professional nba teams training camp. Put Trae alongside some talent of Fournier, AG, and Isaac and it's gonna to be great to see.

Luckily he is leading the nation in assist and scoring as a FRESHMAN and can fit into either role. He won't be a Lillard esque scorer his rookie year. His rookie year he will be primarily a playmaker. Offense, learning the game, and building chemistry with teammates will come in time.

If he plays better after going to another squad then there is definitely something wrong with this Organization.

I just don't think that there is a single team right now that would allow him to do what he is doing at college. Nobody is that bad and everybody has other young prospects that need their own shots and usage as well.

You simply don't go into that draft with mindset " oh yea, we'll pick up Young and give him 20 FGA a night " . Whenever he goes he will have to learn how to be effective without ballhoging,25 FGA and 5+ turnover games
