Man... aside from that spectacular layup, it seems every time Paolo has the ball he gets stripped.

And yeah, he is too small to play C against the traditional powerhouses where they send 2 7footers out there. Paolo is 6'10-6'11 at most and his PF is like Cam Johnson who is 6'8. They get dwarfed downlow.

It kinda seems to me that Kerr thinks this Team USA is his Warriors team and Paolo is Draymond at C or something. He pairs him with another undersized 4 in Cam Johnson and voila, looks like a NCAA team against regular NBA teams.

Yep.... Its the reason I think Kessler isn't getting more minutes, that small ball.

Well Kerr must have thanked his lucky stars to be able to squeeze that one out. Having Santi and Bo Cruz, both 7 footers to go against Paolo and Cam when JJJ and Ingram are sitting down seems... I dunno...

Kinda strange ngl..... For me it just seems P5 at 4 is perfect, you almost HAVE to double, too big for the undersized pfs and too fast for the bigger ones.... Paolo at Center works if you're running 5 out with optimal spacing....idk since it's just friendlies maybe they're just experimenting with lineups so other teams don't have any film on the real lineup maybe?

Yeah.. it would work if offensively if he is surroundrd by all 3 pt shooters. Downside to that is they will get bullied downlow.

I agree... jjj at the 5 and Paolo at the 4. JJJ defends the big 5s while on offense he opens up for Paolo'a driving because he shoots the 3 a lot.

I am concerned with franz knee. his lateral quickness looked slower today, and he was not able to come out and start the second half and came like halfway into the 3rd quarter.

I really hope they arent playing him through an injury

The backup C we wanted = Vuc

The backup C we got = Goga

P.s. there are some epic beards in that game. Wouldnt surprise me if lice jumped from one beard to the next.

I think he was credited with TO’s caused by receiving bad passes which were intercepted before they got to him, because I only saw 2 or 3 TO’s from a Giddey mistake.

Hey Ben, any news on our "big" FA get Ingles? In a blowout against SSD I don't think he played. Is he washed already?

Not washed, but he’s older and doesn’t have the gas to go a full game, so he plays reduced minutes. Big veteran presence and leader amongst the Aussie team. He’s been a mentor for Giddey, and Giddey is already running that Australian team. He’ll set a great example for Black, Howard and Suggs.
