The Raps shafted us by not inserting Dick.

Glad they're not in it.
I agree with you. Stupid tournament that hurts your regular season record. Magic are the real winners tonight. Vegas sucks anyway
I disagree. Woulda been nice to play in it and players wanted it

That absolutely awful 4th quarter was the difference.

NBA doesn't care how fair it is. They just want eyeballs watching so they can get larger TV deals. I bet it was successful on that end. I would be watching regardless but I see WAY more Magic fans on the board engaged on our off-night.

What were the odds off us advancing at the beginning of the night? Anyone remember?

Nah the dropouts also play two games against each other (in-conference, I think)

I think it was like 91% lol.

TBH it's fine. Magic fans need to get humbled a bit. See a lot of people chirping on Twitter to other fanbases or assuming things with the Magic and if I know that 80% of this board was negative in the summer, I know for a fact people can't be assuming things with a Magic squad or acting like they didn't want half this team traded a few months ago

The Magic were also up 15 on the Bulls midway through the 4th quarter and only ended up winning that game by 6.

That -9 over the last few minutes of that quarter also cost them beyond the Nets 4th quarter.

So whats the incentive to still play those games when we are eliminated?

I wanted this to happen especially after Tatum wanted to talk about running up the score or whatever then turns around and does the same thing....

We may have been lowest seed in our group based on record last year. That may have been the reason we were the team for our group that had to sit out the final day.

They're just regular season games adding up to the full 82.

The Magic only have 63 games left on their schedule and have only played 17. So they're two short of 82. Those two "missing" games will be played between 12/2 and 12/11.
