Honestly, if it's not 14-16 ppg...what was the point? Not knocking it - saying that's what I think we should expect. I also think Suggs might be more aggressive...he's the only guy other than Paolo that shot pull-up 3's off the dribble at any measurable volume. IF Suggs can up his shot hunting and maintain his success rate (more or less) - that's the ideal outcome. Two lockdown defenders averaging 25ppg combined, playing starter minutes, is really not a needle-mover to any great degree. Even if KPC's defense and perimeter THREAT is enough to unlock Suggs' offensively...I'll take it...30ppg+ between them.

On efficiency stats alone, averaged for minutes, Caldwell-Pope will be worth 1.5-to-2.2 ppg scoring over Harris. That's huge.

Add thre more if's.

1) Suggs will be 0.5ppg more efficient this year.
2) F-Wagner will be 1ppg more efficient this year.
3) Banchero will be 1ppg more efficient this year.
4) the bench and Carter will not slide in efficiency.

Some all that up, that would mean the Magic would score 4-to-5 more points per game in the same pace.

Back to IF: if all that happens, the Magic is a 50+ win team and a top-4 seed.

None of this includes that Orlando might be a better defensive team also.
