When the Orlando Magic start training camp in late September, they’ll do so hoping Jonathan Isaac will be ready to return after being sidelined the last two years.

“I feel great, I’m doing really good,” Isaac said during an interview with Crain & Company in April. “I know there was the whole hiccup with my right hamstring, but I feel great. I’m really looking forward to coming back next season and being able to play. I’m all good.”

Well, this is the acceptance that Orlando takes this-year's am-I-PF in Keegan Murray. A less athletic, better shooting Aaron Gordon. I am OK with that as Murray could find big, big minutes as a regular 6th man behind both forward starters.

(( the Magic is probably drafting a bench player with its top pick after all ))


There is nothing about Murray's game that screams "future star". He looks to be a lunch-pail player in the league. And would help Orlando win game right-now. Good.

Yup.. he is the lowest risk but lowest ceiling as well of all the top PFs in this draft. That is assuming he does have nba pf height and length which we will see in the measurements. IF he doesnt reach 6'9 with shoes on... better go with someone else

Keegan has good length and an acceptable wingspan. But to be blunt, he will be a below average defensive rebounder as a PF in the NBA.
