#11 UCF Football (11-0): Vs Memphis
Some people are saying that if Frost were to go to NEB, that he'd try to take Milton with him. I feel like this is completely untrue, and doesn't make any sense for Milton at all.

I saw that too and I agree not something I'd see happening. Milton would get obliterated in that conference.

It's possible, but like you said highly unlikely. Milton is about to cap off an incredible season. Would he really want to sit out a year to go play in Nebraska? Kid was homesick last year in Florida. Imagine him spending a winter in Nebraska.
I think it'd be more likely Vedral would follow him. He's from Nebraska and would have 3 years of eligibility up there after he sat a year. If i'm not mistaken their families are friendly as well.

From an outsider looking in, Frost is not handling this very well. If he wants to hear from Nebraska and wants the job, just go silent. Dont put out that Nebraska should be interested in him and he would be hurt if they werent.

I will be at the conference championship game this weekend. I’ll be bringing bags of dog poop to toss at any Nebraska fans

It's an impossible situation. Someone is going to be upset regardless of what he does. Most of husker land believes it is a done deal but that he is trying to keep the focus on the CCG.
The stuff about Milton sounds like nonsense to me. I don't believe Frost is that sort of person. I'm fairly certain that Frost is more concerned with what is in Milton's best interest than trying to pillage players from UCF. I believe this because Osborne didn't try to talk Frost into leaving Stanford when he had the opportunity. Vedral is a different situation entirely. He is a husker legacy and might've gone to Nebraska if he had a scholarship offer. I don't know.
There is a certain zealotry to husker fandom. There is no doubt about that. But let's try not to castigate the entirety of the fan base over something so trivial. This is the nature of the business. I went to Nebraska, my brother went to UCF, and my closest friend from childhood went to USF. I follow and root for all three programs, though there is a hierarchy. I simply don't believe it's necessary to get into petty bickering over trivial matters, as passionate as we may be about them.
I think most UCF fans can appreciate how much a Frost hiring would mean to the husker fan base and why he is such an obvious candidate for their coaching vacancy. Even if Frost leaves, the program is in a far better situation than it was when he arrived and I'd be hopeful that they hit another homerun in their next coaching hire.

I bought my ticket on ticketmaster yesterday after attempting to go to the spectrum stadium box office to be told all the lower bowl seats are sold out. At least I still got a lower bowl ticket but I should have thought better and get the ticket saturday or sunday.

He still could have said that he is only focusing on the conference champ game right now, not said that he would be hurt if Nebraska didnt consider him

Re: #11 UCF Football (11-0): Vs Memphis
I'd be shock if NEB isn't going hard after Frost right now. If Jimbo is leaving for A&M then expect FSU to make a huge run at Frost. He'll get the best talents in Florida and it'll give him a better chance to win than NEB.
Sorry UCF fans, but this is life outside the P5. We just don't have the money to compete with the big schools. Frost is gone.

He's not going to FSU (if Jimbo goes to A&M). He turned down UF for the same reasons he would FSU. If he's going anywhere (right now), it'll be Nebraska.

Ya, it's UCF or NEB. FSU fans who are expecting Frost are delusional.

Re: #11 UCF Football (11-0): Vs Memphis
Ucf moved to #14 in the new CFP Cartel poll.
The way this works, I am surprised that USF did not find its way into the top-25 after a "quality loss".
I wasn't a fan of the retired BCS, but the weekly finagling by the CFP committee is mind boggling.
A solution would be to expand the playoff (it's an invitational currently) to eight teams.
The five P5 conference champs get in, two at large teams, and a qualified G5 team (or a third at large team).

It's baffling.
Washington has no business being in front of UCF. USC probably shouldn't be either. I suppose I could buy an argument for Stanford based on the merits of their wins, but that doesn't explain Alabama at five.
I can't understand the inclusion of Fresno St. at 25 for any reason other than an attempt to bolster Alabama's resume. Their resume just isn't impressive even if you don't punish them for losses against Alabama and Washington. I expect that Ohio St. will be left out in favor of Alabama even if they beat Wisconsin; despite a vastly superior resume.
