I was really hoping that we got into the 6 spot so that we could face them. I’d have felt way more comfortable that we could pull the upset.

They have chemistry issues and have little to no depth... they were far and away the team I wanted us to face.

Simmons is the most overrated NBA player in the league today and ive been saying it since the beginning. His game is completely exposed in the playoffs. He just cannot shoot.

No reason to defend him outside 5 feet. That was always my biggest problem with Payton.
Your PG simply HAS to shoot to help your floor geometry.

In playoffs player's weaknesses get exposed because nobody really game plans for 1 player during regular season. it will be super interesting to see how Magic players handle it.

So why did/do you hate Trae so much? He can shoot and run an offense.

Too full of himself, complete liability on defense, super questionable decison making as he forces things all the time. Never shot better than 34% for 3 on any basketball stage from highschool to today. Streaky medicore shooter on super high usage, while being unathletic 6'0 guard. I just don't think team led by that type of player will ever be serious contender.
I don't see much value in player who scores 20 and gives up 25 on other end.

Hinkie was in his way to building a dynasty and the NBA had to step in and sabotage them with Calangelo. I seriously think that was a pure sabotage move for blatantly tanking. Then Elton stepped in and has been awful to boot.

Ben Simmons with the ball is just as cringe-worthy. His man literally sags completely in the painted area. He cant even take a pull up mid range shot.

3 points
1-5 FG
2 assists

Perfect role player. Probably will get payed more than he is worth.
But Philly is limited due odd couple of PG-C who don't really play to each other's strenghts at all.

Such a streaky inconsistent player. One game he’ll have 40 and disappear completely in the next.
