They might also want to see as much of the other individuals as possible as well. We have 3 high priority players in Tristan, Jase, and Noah.... And players that they need to evaluate for other opening ( 2 way etc.)

We'll see. FO and coaching staff would be working hand in hand on decisions.

cmon, its SL. you think the front office wants to see more of Marcio Santos or Dakota Leffew? we have to pay him this year either way. And Tristan, Jase and Noah arent in his way to play.

They declined Mac so they want to see Moore as a starting guard in SL. He will replace Mcclung in Osceola and get a two-way probably. Jase-Moore-TDS-Penda-Center thats it. No need for Jett in SL.

They made Mac spend more time in an actual Magic jersey in the freaking Slam Dunk Contest than in actual games lol. Kinda feels dirty the way the rolled him out there and had him rep the organization and not give him any real burn on the court.

No. Why would it be? The deadline is months away.

Because Jabari got paid as soon as he was able to. My thought is delay is due to Paolo trying to have the 5th year be a player option instead full 5 year deal. We know he is getting a max deal, so the hold up to me seems a bit strange unless the player option is what he is negotiating.

I was thinking Luka Doncic didn't sign his extension with the Lakers yet, so could Paolo/Suggs for Luka/Kinect trade work?

May we see a Luka, Moseley and Shami reunion?

It's a wild off season! :)

Do you really think Moe signs below 7 mil?
This dude was one of the best 6th men till he got injured.
On the other there are no rumors at all with other teams so I guess they have a verbal agreement and management is trying to get the money together

Nobody really has a ton of money to offer to drive his price up. Plus one way players are not really valued that highly around the league right now.

Ty Jerome was the guard equivalent to Mo last year and got what 9 a year? And he isn't coming off of a serious injury. I could see slightly more than 7 for Mo, but not a lot more. Between 7-10 million is fair, IMO.

Is there a website that gives us an updated list of teams with money to spend after all the agreements and how much they have left?

Franz signed his July 5, so should be around now that he signs it. :o

Although Suggs signed his in October.

With his aunt passing away that could also be something to remember on timing.
Fine print disclaimer for Fultz:
I am high on Markelle Fultz. Yes I understand he is not perfect and needs to shoot more and better and turn the ball over less. I would really like to see him play one more year… and I did and he sucks time to move on.

I wanted Paulo + filler for Luka but then the Bane trade happened so no more filler and less need for Luka

In 20 of his last 21 games, removing the injury game, Mo Wagner was at about 14 PPG, 5.5 RPG, 2 APG, 1 SPG, and 0.5 BPG.
This was on 58.5% FG%, 40.7% 3P% (1.1 3PM) and 67% FT% (2.4 FTM) with an 18-12 Team Record and 20.1 MPG.

Over the past few months, since we've gotten a few non-Magic lurkers coming in here and saying Deni Avdija is better than Paolo and Franz because of advanced stats and Per 36 stats, I decided to do the same thing but with Deni Avdija versus Mo Wagner this time.

Deni Avdija Per 36 last season:
20.3 PPG, 8.7 RPG, 4.7 APG to 3.3 TO, 1.2 SPG, 0.8 BPG on 47.6% FG%, 36.5% 3P% (2.1 3PM), 78% FT% (4.8 FTM)
Mo Wagner Per 36 last season:
24.6 PPG, 9.4 RPG, 2.7 APG to 3.1 TO, 1.5 SPG, 0.8 BPG on 56.2% FG%, 36% 3P% (1.7 3PM), 72% FT% (5.0 FTM)
Mo Wagner Per 36 last 20 games:
25.4 PPG, 9.6 RPG, 3.2 APG to 2.8 TO, 1.6 SPG, 0.8 BPG on 58.5% FG%, 40.7% 3P% (1.9 3PM), 67% FT% (4.3 FTM)

Deni Avdija more stats:
17.7 PER, .. 116 ORTG, 113 DRTG, .. OBPM 1.4, DBPM 0.7, BPM 2.1, .. eFG% 55%, .. TS% 60.5%, .. Charges Taken: Not Enough to Track.
Mo Wagner more stats:
22.3 PER, .. 118 ORT, 108 DRTG, .. OBPM 2.6, DBPM 1.4, BPM 4.0, .. eFG% 61.6%, .. TS% 65%, .. Charges Taken: Around 0.60 Per 36 based on last full season (3rd highest in League). Also, 20.6 PER in last full season.

Mo Wagner also draws charges like Darrell Armstrong and agitates like Bill Lambeer

If he started instead of Wendell the Magic would win +6 more games.

I love the guy but why is he NEVER EVER EVER given serious consideration as a starter?…even when WCJ sits.

There’s clearly a (too big) hole in his game for Mose to call his number …presumably defense

I didn’t know rookie contract extension could be negotiated with a player’s option on the 5th term, I thought that was an automatic team option.

But regardless, it is a little strange that we have not heard anything about his offer. I assumed he’d be the first news we heard once the season ended. But he will be a RFA so if he doesn’t want to sign his extension, we’d just match whatever offer he gets. However, I always think it is a gamble for players to go into a contract year without a guaranteed contract because of the possibility of injuries. So, I do hope, for his sake that he signs soon.

Wow 5 million for Moe. Weltman can't miss right now.

Means we don't have to move anybody?
