No one is jumping off the Magic bandwagon, they are just saying what everyone knows but is trying to convince themselves is not true.

Saying we are boned is not the same as saying you are quitting on the Magic.

Miami is going to be nasty and James/Wade will be a highlight reel, but it's clear LBJ is more concerned about self-promotion and a $40m castle on star island than winning. Wade? Well he pretty much rapes us for 40-50 every game but that hasn't stopped us from going further in the playoffs.

I think he is overrated too. He plays for the damn Raptors for crying out loud. I don't understand why people here are hanging themselves like the Heat just built the most incredible team in the NBA. They have 3 guys..3 guys..and the rest of the team is Joel Anthony and Mario friggin chalmers..their bench is non existant. They have no money to sign anybody, and will have to fill out the rest of their bench with Iverson's, Shaq's and McGrady's of the world..I still think the Celtics and the Magic are the best teams in the east. Miami will dominate in a couple of years, but next year I just don't see it. They will be good obviously, but not this unstoppable force that some of you make it look like they will.

Alright sorry I panicked for a moment. I like the Lee pick but he traded him away for an over-the-hill Vince.

I still maintain that it was a good trade.

Had we not pulled the trigger when Turkoglu walked and instead kept Lee, Alston, and Battie I can guaran-damn-tee you that we wouldn't have a Championship either. We fell short, but we came closer than we would have standing pat.

I still think we would have made the ECF with Lee Battie and Alston. Charlotte and Atlanta were jokes. We may have done better in the ECF because Lee can play defense unlike Carter.

So you subract Hedo Turkoglu (because he was already a goner by that time) and keep everyone else and still make the ECF? I find that hard to believe.

You can't talk about it starting from the CHA and ATL serieses either. What guarantee is there that the Magic even finish #2 seed with that team?

Jason Williams most likely will resign with the Heat as well.

Adam, maybe some are bandwagon fans but I have been a fan since the beginning and have a right to feel discouraged by this. I hope Otis pulls a rabbit out and gives us a ray of hope.

I was crushed watching Nick Anderson miss those free throws in the finals against Houston. I was so damn happy watching us steal the ball from Jordan and seeing Horace slam the ball on the other end.

I just want to experience what a championship feels like especially since I live here. Hell, even my Dolphins have not won since the 70's :( I still support them as well.

But we're not boned.

It takes a whole roster to win a title.

Right now with Beasley being traded, Chalmers is the only Heat player officially signed.
So say they then sign Shaq. That's 5 players. They'll be able to add maybe one or two more good players and the rest will be over the hill players (which Shaq already is) and D-Leaguers.

Plus, that team still has to defend.

It just got real. I hope our players take this as serious as the fans have them improving is the only hope we have.

It does not take a whole roster to win a title when you have 3 of the 8 best players in the league. And now every ring chasing vet will be lining up to play for the minimum, which will give them what little depth they need.

Wade and LeBron alone dragged bums to the playoffs. Now, even if it was the 5 guys they have and the WNBA all stars, they will win if healthy.

There is only one ball on the court. At some point, Wade, or Lebron will have to stand in the corner during offensive sets and play the role of Rashard Lewis.

Contenders in the east: Orlando, Boston, Chicago and Team USA.

Does anyone else think it's disgusting how people are scapegoating Lebron for having a TV show for his Free Agency decision?

HELLOOOOOOO WE'RE IN A RECESSION HERE PEOPLE!!!

The networks and the NBA are obviously trying make as much money as possible for a amount that they have lost in Ticket sales, reduced endorsements. By blowing up the importance of Lebron's decision, they are drawing interest to their product and economizing in a time that needs more smart business decisions.

And Speaking of poor business decisions, Dan Gilbert just committed perhaps the worst business decision of his life with his completely unprofessional letter. And Don't even get me started on the fans' immaturity!

These eyes have seen quite a bit of stupidity in the last few hours.

There are enough whistles between Wade and LeBron to blow up the world as we know it.

We are not getting Chris Paul,Paul if anything will be joining the Heat when he becomes a free-agent.Paul also just joined Lebron's marketing company,Wade and Bosh have the same agents, there were rumors that during the olympics in 2008 that Lebron,Wade,Bosh,Paul made a pact to join together on 1 team. It's looking like that might be a possibility.
