I don't know if Hedo was just dogging it, but he stunk it up. JJ couldn't hit the broad side of a building. Still need a legit 2nd option, even though J-Rich had his moments.

I'm unable to watch the steam but can anyone tell me if Paul Porter is doing the announcing?

They didn't look that bad to me, but I can tell they were tired. Which makes sense because SVG earlier said that they had practiced for 1 hour before coming out for the open practice.

Well, not sure about Howard's speech, but at least he didn't get booed.

We'll get a better glimpse of them tomorrow against the heat. I didn't know they'd already practiced, so that makes sense.

i swear man i missed like half the practice looking at replays...other than that....I think i see why Stan has been praising Von Wafer dude can ball he might actually be our only shot creator...Liggins really impressed me as well too bad he's riding the pine for a year....Q is actually making shots who knew? Jameer looked decent but still walks the ball up the court....Larry Hughes Should be our Backup PG he made nice passes and plays well above Duhon in my book...Turk looked pedestrian along with Ryan...Big Baby looked good to me especially when it came to screens and defense...JJ looked alright along with J-Rich...Gabe should be cut...Orton looked lost

I'm actually quite surprised that Harper wasn't as impressive as Liggins was.

Now, if only we can get rid of Turk and Duhon for servicable players, I would be extremely happy.

I think it may be another live by the 3, die by the 3 year. Hope they drop against Miami or it could get ugly.

No, it's some young guy annoyingly telling people to make noise

I used to think Paul Porter was annoying till I heard some of the other NBA teams announcers ... like Cleveland

The best is the guy in Los Angeles ... like the butler from the Adams Family

I'm hoping against all hope that our team will learn that "The net is our friend not foe". I can't take another 3 point shooting season.

Sadly, I probably won't be watching this season because I don't have cable anymore... :(

I don't have internet either, only wi-fi that comes and goes. I was thinking of getting NBA League Pass on my itouch but realized that they don't show local games and I don't have a consistent wi-fi.

Keep in mind that most players are not going to go all out in practice. That is how injuries or tweaking muscles occur. Hence, expect some players (hedo, jj, ryno etc) to take it easy while some players (wafer, davis, liggins etc) got something to prove with their new team. But, it will be the other way around come Dec. 25th.

I just got home from Amway. Wafer looked like a baller. Hedo was turrible, Dwight got a lot of love, all that really stood out to me.

Also, DeAndre Liggins was impressive. He played hard and kept attacking the basket.

As I said before, I hope Liggins gets plenty of burn this year. I was looking forward his defense, but looks like he can also attack the basket. Good stuff.

Funny quotes from peeps I found on the webb regarding Dwight.

Dwight Howard should have a espn special called THE TRADE, outlining exactly which teams he wants to be traded too!

I can see Dwight doing an ESPN special for $10-20 million dollars like LeBrons Decision.

I got a solution, let's just move half the NBA teams to Los Angeles and the other half to New York...now everyone can play for a big market and be happy!

The Heat should trade Lebron James, Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh to the Kings, then Orlando ship Howard to the Kings as well; finally the Clippers package Paul to the Kings to form the New Sacramento Drama Queens! That's all these guys are!

I was there and was really impressed with von, liggins and even hughs. I would take hughs as bu point over dudu in a hot minute. On the other side, man did orton look tuurrrible! He just looked lost. Turk was phoning it in, not the 09 turk i was hearing about.

I've never understood the hype over JJ tbh, he's a nice guy but has never once impressed me. Hedo played no better than my Dad out there. It's understandable why Dwight wants out when 1/3 of our salary cap is with them two.
