Can't believe any rival GM will help Orl trade DHoward to potential "super team" w/ Nets. Can't believe Magic would take BLopez in return.

Well... he's not wrong.

You know things are bad when you find yourself agreeing with Skip.

Now all we need is for Stephen A. to start making sense and we'll know the Mayans were right.

Either way, it proves that not giving into Howard won't stop us from getting free agents.

Rick Bonnell: I'm told the #Bobcats would be interested in Humphries if he signs a 1-year deal (vs. 4 years) Wouldn't have the same interest in Brooks.

Cleveland wants a draft pick along with Humphries. Would Charlotte be will to send their 2013 first round pick to Orlando? If so, my feelings about this deal change entirely. Imagine this:

Orlando likely goes into the 2013 off season with 2 top 5 draft picks and a TON of cap space. Orlando walks away from the draft with BOTH Nerlens Noel and Shabazz Muhammad before hitting the free agent market hard.

While Lopez is a horrible rebounder and an ineffective defender, he is a superb offensive big man. Nerlens Noel is drawing comparisons to a young Marcus Camby. Imagine that duo as an Offense+Defense twin towers tag team along with the perimeter athleticism of Shabazz. Now that is how you rebuild...

Montiejunas
Parsons
Lamb
K-Mart
Tor 1st Rounder (Lotto)

FOR

D12
Clark
Duhon

Jameer - Wayns - Westbrook
Redick - Lamb - Richardson - Liggins
Martin - Parsons - Turkoglu
Davis - Nicholson - Harper
Montiejunas - O'Quinn

Fun team to watch while we re-build. Toronto should suck so that'll be a great pick...

Would have a hard time believing the Bobcats are going to give up an unprotected pick for Humphries. Unless there's something else I'm missing here. It's been a long day, and I'm tired.

Also, I'm not as high as you on Lopez' offense. The field goal pct for a center isn't very good.

Houston's safety net. If we traded them Dwight and he walks, they can just pick up Bynum the next year because of mutual interest.

I want to do the Cleveland style of rebuilding instead of the Denver style. Play the year out with Dwight, try to contend for a title. If Dwight decides to walk in free agency, then we will let him walk.

It's not that easy. What makes you think Bynum will walk away from LA just to go to Houston, when he would be losing money in the process. Same thing with Dwight. I can't see him walking away from the extra money he would get if he re-upped in Houston.

Fegan is K-mart's agent too. He wouldn't be able to mess up Houston's trade in any way right?
Woj is the new Bucher. Shams is the new Woj. Espn is the new TMZ. The NBA is the new WWE.

I think it would be more like if Houston have failed for getting Dwight, their next target is Bynum
"The Rockets continue to amass assets in an attempt to acquire either Dwight Howard from Orlando or Andrew Bynum from the Lakers." This is what David Aldridge says

Martin wouldn't be a S&T, we'd be taking him as an expiring. So, no. Fegan has no way to mess up that deal.
