The deal with 48 hours on sign and trades is that let's say Brook agrees to a sign and trade with Orlando today, he's got to be moved within 48 hours or it falls apart. He can't sign with BKN now and then within 48 hours change it to a sign and trade for Orlando, I don't think at least that's how I understand the rules.

next season with chicago out of the mold, i think i would pick them to have a better record than boston if lopez can play the majority of the season. they might just make the ECF even without dwight

I think he's talking about Bynum closing the deal on a stripper in Orlando that he's been working on for the past 6 hours after arriving to meet with Devos early this morning to agree to an extension. That's what LaRob said.

This team would still contend. Humphries and Williams are both good for star level production in their roles while Wallace and Johnson are good for borderline all star production. Lopez gives them a good scoring big man though he'll need to rebound and defend better than he has. If he shows some toughness they could be very dangerous with or without Dwight, and even if he is a below average center the team is constituted nicely to make up for his shortcomings.

Rockets could make a deal maybe, but can you really see Howard signing an extension with a team that is in rebuild mode.

I'm hearing rumors that the Lakers are willing to take on J Rich contract.

Could the Lakers or Rockets trade to Orlando alone?

I think it makes more sense for a 3 way trade. Can't see a 24 year old Bynum not signing an extension, being the man and rebuilding while he cashes in.
