Mose needs to suck it up, take the 50k fine, and call out the refs on this one. Hard loss from horrible refs.

Suggs Franz and Paolo played well in a loss. I guess the tankers are happy

That was a young, inexperienced team type of loss.

Oh well - it’s a tank win.

Very strong tank win. Nice that Paolo and Franz both had good games too

Looks like we are stuck at 5th worst. Bad place to be.

And fouling someone to stop a transitional dunk is a strategy too but the NBA decided to make that a take foul because it denies the fan from seeing an entertaining dunk but yet they think fans want to see free throw shots at the end of games? That should be 3 fouls to stop teams from doing that during these critical periods.

No, it isn't. If we were Rockets or Spurs level record with the draft picks we had, even with our injuries, there would be a lot more deserved panic because it means we're way further away than we think without an overhaul.

I thought they had a Shaq rule where you couldn't foul in the last two minutes?

I used to be as pro tank as anyone in the past. I don't understand still rooting for losses at this point. We have our building blocks. Dont we want to see them be successful?

Tough loss. A non-Lillard player hit a dagger 3 and we couldn't get them to miss a free throw, what can you do.

Actually, one thing you can do is be better prepared for that specific situation. We were in this same spot not too long ago and it played out exactly the same way. Acting shocked and being unprepared for the opponent putting you on the line is inexcusable at this point. Be aware of the possibility of it before it happens and don't present an easy opportunity for the opponent to do it. And once they have done it and the exchange of free throws begins, have something installed that's designed to advance the ball on the inbound and have a chance at a shot. I know it's easier said than done, but you should never be helpless and have nothing to go to. We may as well intentionally miss the second free throw and roll the dice on that, because we weren't getting a shot off otherwise.
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

Sorry, I don't mean in a meta sense of how good or bad our players are. We started the season really bad and I don't think our record is accurate to our skill level. I mean as far as the odds that we actually end up picking 7 instead of top 5.

I think that was intentionally fouling a bad free throw shooter.

How would that work though? Players would just swipe at the ball and foul still

Man this has been a yo-yo of a season. I’m about done. Definitely not looking forward to the game against the Bucks.

Certainly something for the young guys to learn about. But this game was lost in the last mins of the 3rd when they allowed Port to go on a run and get a 9pt lead. Starting the 4th down and Lillard having that type of game was an uphill battle.

One foul shot, and get the ball back. Then you can’t intentionally foul so the other team won’t tie.

I personally hate the foul strategy down the stretch.
