Way too many mistakes on the road. Won’t even beat OK State playing like that. Beat a good Houston team at home and bowl eligibility is on the table.

Fans aren't happy with the Space Game loss but forget we were big underdogs going in.

Personally I'm proud with how the guys competed.

And the call to go to Davi was inspired, if you ask me, and darn near got us the win. I have no problem with it.

5-6 wins was best case scenario and we can still get that if we take care business against Oklahoma State. Maybe we play out of our minds against TT and/or BYU.

Regardless, this is the most fun I've had as a fan in years despite the ups and downs.

We win if we don’t pick up crucial injuries.
The decision to go with Davi was a good one. He just made an incredibly dumb mistake in the end.
Not thrilled with the delay of game penalties, but that’s the tradeoff of playing the inexperienced youth.

Texas Tech convincingly beat BYU. And if we don’t get some bodies back, I’m worried we’ll get beat worse than the Baylor game.

The goal at this point is just to put up a good fight and show some pride and hope you can somehow pull off an upset and find our way into bowl eligibility.

UCF will probably beat Okie State at home, but they will be one of the worst 5 win teams of all time IMO.

They are legitimately awful and benefitted from an extra soft schedule with three unexpectedly terrible teams on it.

I think what we've seen this season is that the defense is ahead of where we expected, but the offense is far behind and Frost's offense is in desperate need of a competent QB. When we heard this summer that no one had separated themselves I knew that was trouble. Jackson has shown flashes but has also been beat up, but I don't think he's the guy either. When the QB is playing well, even with a not so great WR group, the team has played decently. But when QB is struggling it's even worse because our OL starts getting chewed up as defenses just throw everything at the QB/RB.

We have some highly talented HS QBs committed and hopefully signing, and I think Frost will have a much better second offseason in terms of NIL and transfers (remember, he had basically no time to recruit HS and was still putting together a staff when most players were hitting the portal as the season ended). We also didn't have a full revshare from Big XII until this season, so hopefully he can find some big OL guys from other schools looking for playing time. I think we'll probably see a good number of transfers coming from UF just because of the coaching change and players wanting to stay close or come back home. Supposedly the NIL budget will be much larger this year. Still going to be tough to compete against teams like Texas Tech who have 3-4x the amount of cash we do to throw around from donors though.

Yeah, our defense gives me hope for a solid season next year even if our offense still has some flaws.

We’ve wasted way too much money on QBs who are not cutting it. Pissing NIL money away on poor QBs.

Yea QB is so difficult with NIL. You wind up spending the most on them because they're objectively the most important position, but if you throw that much money at them it seems there's a decent chance it goes to their heads and they don't work as hard, or you wind up overpaying for a backup hoping they were good enough to start but just were stuck behind another starting caliber QB, lol.

I imagine we'll be throwing another big bag at another QB because I doubt we want to rely on a true freshman coming in, so hopefully third times the charm and we get a baller, lol. Otherwise hopefully one of those true freshman are ready to come in and hopefully they don't play themselves into too big of a payday that we can't keep them longer than a season, lol. :clown:

Need an OL upgrade if we’re going to keep our next QB(s) off of the injury report. Year two I’m hoping for 6-7 wins to be realistic.

I would be 100% fine with UCF throwing the majority of revshare at the trenches.

Well that was lame but UCF was always behind before the season started. Lets see with a more stable offseason if that helps get better players.

Could have been a lot worse this season. 5 wins considering the % turnover in roster and late start for Frost is respectable. Looking forward to seeing year two progress and roster moves.
