I wouldn't trade Suggs straight up for Ingram...let alone add. Nevermind. Good job agents.

I’m not ready to say Brandon Ingram makes no sense.

He’s made an All-Star team. He’s a very good player. Talent is talent.

Now I do admit that it is a quirky fit. And being essentially forced to give him a max deal means you essentially *have* to be right about the fit.

But screw it, scared money don’t make money. I’m willing to gamble.

Now, obviously Suggs and Franz and Paolo are 100% no questions asked off the table.

But if you’re making a deal using pieces that aren’t those three guys, I think you could whip up something pretty interesting.

If Brandon Ingram doesn't coexist well with Zion and CJ, what makes it that this will work for Franz, Paolo and BI? They all need ball in their hands to score. No, BI will ask for an extension this summer. I am not trading Suggs plus Moe Wagner. Yes, this trade will land us a star. But I just do not see the fit at all plus cost too much

Glad you aren’t our GM. This isn’t the right gamble even. It’s not scared money in this case it’s common sense.

What about cj mccollum? There are rumors he is on the table too and he should cost less, being older.

I like the idea of a 3 way trade:

Magic in: Dejounte Murray
Hawks in: Brandon Ingram
Pelicans in: Cole Anthony and Wendell Carter Jr., Den 25 1st.

We then use are cap space to go after a starting center and a scorer off the bench to fill Cole’s role. Not sure if we would have enough to get Monk as are 6 man and Clayton from the nets. One can dream…

Murray
Suggs
Wagner
Banchero
Claxton

Bench:
Black
Monk
Jett
JI
Moe

The defense would be better than this years team.

Pelicans can't afford Ingram, they have no leverage. It's also a very disruptive move and pretty much ensures that Suggs is not getting reps as the third option. Very short sighted. If talent was additive the Sun's would still be playing.

Just wait until not only is Suggs not getting the third option reps, but Black is going to New Orleans!

2 deals with Phoenix, we need a SG and they need to drop salary and sign role players. Please let me know what you think or how you’d change the trade

Orlando sends: WCJ + Black + Howard + Bitadze + Houstan + 24 FRP + Den 25 FRP + Phoenix pick swap + 26 FRP * 28 FRP + multiple 2nd round picks

Phoenix sends: Devin Booker
* Isaac added to the deal if needed for a bad contract

Alternative deal

Orlando sends: 2025 Den FRP + Harris SnT

Phoenix sends: Bradley Beal

Both reduce, salary, give picks back, and some depth in the Booker deal. The Bradley Beal deal is a cheap alternative where we could potentially pick up a SG easily if he agrees. The contract is bad, but he would be a good fit next to Suggs in my opinion, and now is the time to get him while his stock is low.

There is no way we are trading Andre Iguodala 2.0
