The Magic played top tier defense for half of this season and then stopped.

The offense stunk last year and they still won 47.

The offense stunk the first half of this year and they were still 19-12 though 31 games.

They stopped playing defense and started losing. And if Mosley can’t get guys to play defense, then he has to go. Flat out.

And if that effort just isn't sustainable with the squad we have? The coach can't force it out of them.

Then he’s not the right coach.

Because getting to guys to play with effort and togetherness and physically is quite literally all he brings to the table and all he has brought to the table since the day he was hired.

Guys have stopped playing with energy, toughness and physicality.

Which is literally Mosley’s entire gimmick.

If he can’t get these guys to do those things, he doesn’t need to be here.

At some point talent matters and toughness can do so much. This team doesn’t have much beyond Franz and Paolo at the current moment.

They were 19-12 at one point *this season* with the same players essentially though.

They were playing over their head. Most thought they would comeback to earth and they finally have.

The roster *obviously* is flawed and Weltman deserves to lose his job more than Mosley.

But the levels in which everything Mosley has preached since his literal first day on the job have slipped is jarring to the point of him also absolutely needing to go too.
