There are so many directions this 25th pick could go...

They could go with a center like Raynaud or Kalkbrenner which would allow them to either let Moritz walk (which would open up the MLE) or allow them to trade one of Carter/Goga while retaining Moritz.

They could go with a forward like Newell or Fleming or Sorber (if you think he's a PF, he could be a C) and unload Isaac which would open up the MLE for a guard/wing and allow them to retain Moritz.

They could go with a wing like Riley or Thiero or McNeeley or Powell or Essengue and just slot them in as a long-term backup behind Franz.

They could go with a guard like Clayton or Richardson or Traore and use their MLE on a wing/forward/big.

I'm pretty wide open to any position. No matter what they do, they can and should make a subsequent move/moves to balance the roster, whether that's the MLE or a trade or both.

Building off that board I'd prioritize the following players at each pick:

25: one of Sorber, Broome, Queen, Clayton, Fears, Riley
46: one of Brea, Raynaud, Nelson, Zikarsky, Sears, Proctor, Jones
57: one of Sallis, Small, Kalkbrenner, Yang, Pate

Well as of now in the ncaa... hes just 250lbs i think. He looks bulkier than Kornet but waàaay slimmer than Clingan.

I guess he leans on thw Kornet scale more than the Clingan/Edey type

I'd go the Kornet route as well but with potentially more versatility on offense. But a Kornet comparison is not hating on the guy either. That's a solid bench big who helps your team. He's not my top choice at 25, but would be a no brainer at 46.

I think so too...maybe the Kessler scale would be more hopeful...Clingan is a lot more mobile, but Kessler has really good defensive reactions/instincts to compensate. I'd love to just get Kessler.

He is really really slow moving his feet on defense IMO. Was really good in drop coverage though. Good screener, needs to work on his rebounding, terrific finisher. Has great timing on his blocks and catching lobs. Being able to be a threat from 3 and consistently pull defenses out will probably determine how good he is, but I think he would be a perfectly fine pick at 25 as a backup big for a team trying to win right now and save some money at that position.

I wonder if they would consider trying to move up a small amount in the 2nd to secure one of whoever drops out of Broome, Raynaud, Amari Williams, Yang and Kalkbrenner.

I prefer those guys early 2nd and taking BPA who falls to us at 25. Of course it depends on how the board shakes out, but if guys like Jase, Penda, Clayton, Riley or Fleming fall to 25 I want one of them over the center. Would love to secure one of the centers in the 2nd though. Still have all of our extra 2nds, a small trade up should be plausible in theory.

Man I'd love to get that guy but no way does his injury drop him that much. Pre-injury i would of said he was a top 10 pick and the #1 center on this draft

Have him and Jones on my radar if Clayton Jr is off the board and if we even keep the pick. Both are tough shot makers and 3pt shooters but Jones is the better passer. Neither have defense as a strength. I’m still super intrigued by Raynaud though. I’d love Sorber here but I think he’s gone before we pick.

I am doing my late homework on the draft. Some more underrated players which can be option for us
25- Drake Powell
46/57- John Tonje, Max Shulga

Our second round pick is gonna be really good. Shulga looks almost like he could take our backup PG spot if we miss on free agents.
