Gortat was utterly dominant!!!

Awesome season for the Magic...Most fun ive had watching a sports team

Also my first season here at RealGM and even though some of us have our disagreements...This is still the best board on the Net.

What did he say?

and i just watched the highlight reel with the foo fighters best of you song and it just makes me so proud to be a magic fan. seriously thank God that we have a team like this filled with good guys. So many teams have good players who are complete douche bags and i think we have a group of truly sincere guys and a sincere organization. i wouldnt have it any other way

 i hear ya brotha

basically he was saying dont overreact to one game, whoever wins 4 games first wins, it's not like the regular season, you cant get too high or low in the playoffs off of one game, because it's just ONE game

then he said usually when you have two good teams like raps/magic whoever lost the last game usually comes out stronger/better the next game which is true
Dwight Howard on his FT struggles:

"I just think everybody needs to stop talking about it," Howard said. "There's more to life than free throws."

Goukas didn't actually address the board. He just said not to freak out if the Magic are losing (should've used green font)...

Interesting game tonight...

... considering a lot of people think Washington has one of the best benches in the league and ours one of the worst.

Not saying ours is > theirs but just goes to show what happens when people get a chance.

what does that have to due with the board?

It has to do with the board's tendency to overreact to anything.

Will that UNC kid who poses as a Magic fan now get on board to talk about how even if JJ scored 42 points, played center, and saved a seven year old kid from being trampled by a bull while hitting a 3 he still sucks and it means nothing and he cannot play in the NBA and he sucks? But of course JJ NOT playing shows that he can't play in the NBA? You know which guy, the one with "Heels" in his name who insists his dislike for Redick is based purely on his play (or not so much) on the Magic?

Nice to see them showing JJ as trade bait. I wonder where he will go... there are a few teams who could definately use him as a third, fourth option when a big guy gets doubled.

THE WARLOCK WAS UNLEASHED TO TONIGHT. Very well deserved Aleve Hustle Player of the Game.
JJ got in a groove late to get Subway Sub of the Game.

Congrats to Dwight for his records.

Congrats to the team for 52-30 and getting 5 3s EVERY GAME THIS SEASON. :) :D

Auggie and the Polish Hammer did damn well.

2nd straight game our bench does better than the starters. :)

Decent Fan Appreciation Night as I snatched a Jameer Nelson action figure. Adonal and Dwight actually through their shoes to the crowd.

I'm pumped for this playoff run.

I enjoyed Fran Appreciation Night.

11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

I know everyone loves Gortat, but the guy is a stiff. He's incredibly slow and has no quickness at all, and should only be used as a guy to commit fouls. Despite what you may think of Foyle, he's still a capable shot blocker and defender off the bench and quite honestly, I'd trust him more than Gortat given the situation.

Incredibly slow? No quickness? That's not what I saw tonight.

Regardless, he's too inexperienced to play in the playoffs anyway.

Like Guokas said, dude belonged out there. Although this was against the 2nd unit of a mediocre team, he still knew the plays, did not seem confused out there like a lot of those guys do, and definitely did show exactly the opposite of what HeyIt'sMe is talking about.

Like the play where he outran everybody on both squads, including the guards? Stiffs just don't do that.

I mean, sure, there's questions over how his body would respond if he got 15 a night over an 82 game schedule, and it's doubtful he'd be playing with that much hustle in the last game of the season if he played a full schedule, but you definitely gotta like what you see out there. You can only imagine what he's doing in practice. As good a body as any to throw at Dwight.

Also, the guys seem to like him, so if you can't get somebody that's significantly better, might as well hang onto him for next year.

I dunno, he looked pretty slow to me, but I guess I'm just used to Dwight out there.
