Don't forget that Alex runs the show now... and Dwight and SVG cleared the air a bit as well
... so things might have changed
DM screen caps or not... they are irrelevant at this point imo... idk why the folks at TBN got so worked up over them... the time frame of the DM isn't anything new
i don't want to be a Debbie Downer, but that "team feels like 2009" comment came after trouncing the Nets. i think the team has been lulled into a false sense of security with all the bottom feeder teams we've been playing, and when we came up against some real competition we got a big wakeup call.
going back up against the Kings will hopefully help get the game going again, but we need to face more competition to get Anderson ready for playoff ball and not stat padding against garbage teams (this isn't hate, as i love the big guy).
i think the biggest difference between Dwight and Stan is Dwight taking over as on court leader, and less shouting from Stan. i'm only watching from a streaming online connection so the audio quality isn't perfect, but i hardly hear Stan shouting from the sidelines anymore.
the way i see this season playing out is that the Nets keep Deron and gamble it all on being able to recruit Dwight in the offseason. we don't make a trade, since the team seems to be finding form, and we go into the offseason with the ability to clear some contracts in an effort to sign Deron ourselves. what happens from there? who knows...
well, according to the guy on TBN, Deron doesn't want to come here...
