Anyone else starting to feel a little bad for 12 at this point? I mean, it's all deserved but after reading a few articles lately it seems the whole world is tired about hearing him whine. You would think someone that really cared about him would have pulled him away from this camp and their leaks + advice. If his main goal was to get to the Nets he could have gone about it a lot better along with handling everything else since then. I'm sure this will all disappear with his first title (unfortunately); but for now it's all but official that he is more despised than Lebron! If they were buddies before they must be best friends now with the way Lebron is appreciating Dwight for making him look so good!

The Magic are going to do everything they can to make the organization look good, well-run, and competent. This is the new post-paddle Orlando Magic.

**** 12. He and his handlers brought this upon themselves. I'm just glad we hired a smart GM to not fall for BS trades and to truly do what's best for our organization.

**** you Otis Smith for wanting to accept Gerald Wallace & Brook Lopez.

Yes. He said it multiple times on sports radio. He said it was very important to bring JRich back. He and Otis definetly worked together to build this awful roster.

I'm not saying **** him is the wrong response because I quite agree. I'm just commenting on how royally he screwed himself by Diva-ing out. It's comical at this point walking that fine line of sad; at least imo.

Without trying to get political it reminds me of Mel Gibson, Charlie Sheen, The Hoff, and Michael Richards!

All these people should have known better or had a publicist practically living with them because their respective employers knew better than to trust them not to open their mouths.

This could seriously spiral out of control for the big guy; and it's not nearly over for him... He could be the next Penny when he leaves the Magic, or the next Shaq... But people will never forget this part of him, and I'm not just talking Magic fans.

They could of at least asked Jacque about this coaching style and what to look forward to on "offense and defense". But no should we be surprised? All the media decided to ask was all D12 questions during the press conference.

They did ask him, and he said he will be flexible.

Yes; exactly because he is dumb and has no one to take care of him better than this. For all that money he is still the most reviled current sports figure I can think of.

Love the Sheldon reference though; it's pretty much how I feel for Dwight!

things looking very promising. i gotta give credit to alex. as soon as he took over from bob he has given this organization a steady professional outlook. he made the right hire in hennigan when everyone was looking for experience and he gave the ok to jv when everyone wanted shaw or malone.

Josh Robbins ‏@JoshuaBRobbins
The only other #Magic coaching candidate to meet with the DeVos family was #76ers assoc head coach Muchael Curry.

As one of the Magic's "armchair GM's", I'm more than impressed with the hire especially after hearing what BOTH Hennigan and Vaughan had to say. I definatley feel he's the right guy for the job and i'm very excited going forward, even though the Dwight situation still looms, still hangs over everyone's head.

On Vaughan: He's a very good speaker, communicator. With Dwight's departure inevitable, the FOCUS now shifts to the development of our young nucleus, discovering a new identity. In recent years past, we as fans have been very suspect wondering if our Head Coach/GM were on the same page. With Hennigan/Vaughan, there's no question they're on the same page, same book, at the same time. For me, It's a very refreshing feeling going forward and what to expect from the two.

This. I don't think there was any kind of strong communication between SVG and Otis. SVG seemed to have this attitude of "I'm the coach, I'll leave the GM'ing to Otis." Same with Otis.

I don't buy this. I think Otis and SVG worked very closely to build this roster.

Comments from SVG in the past makes me think that communication was minimal at best, like when we lost to Atlanta, he stated, this is what we are, a post player with shooters, we don't have the personnel to create their own shots on a regular basis, imo.
