Aldridge, Gortat, Asik, others probably.

Garnett?

On the other hand, Verajeo was on his way to a career year before he got hurt. Maybe they don't need someone to fill the middle, if he can comeback and pick up where he left off.

i don't see Portland moving Aldridge, since that team is built around him. Gortat and Asik don't seem to be worth a #1 pick, but it's not like the #1 is a guaranteed star, so maybe. KingRobbo mentioned Pau Gasol as an option a while back, which wouldn't surprise me, but more would have to be involved to make it worth it for the Cavs, I'd imagine.

to be honest, Cavs may as well sign Smith/Jefferson this season, draft Noel/McLemore, and then make a run at LBJ next season. they'd have the cash to do that once they let AV, Gee and Speights all walk.

Man I can't lie I really love this international class if we are able to get one of these following players I would be extremely happy.

1. Sergey Karasev, Russia
2. Alex Abrines, Spain
3. Oleksandr Lapovyy, Ukraine
4. Adin Vrabac, Bosnia
5. Livio Jean-Charles, France

Its Lillard's town now and was for half of last season. They aren't attached to LA like they used to be. Not saying theyre loookingto move him, but given the right situation they would consider.

I think there are enough FA bigs out there that they can snag one and keep the pick though.

I think the prevailing thought is that if Hennigan looks at Noel/McLemore/Oladipo and thinks they are can't miss talents, then he will snap them up. But if he's not sold on them, and he prefers someone else (some assume McCollum, some assume MCW, but it could be anyone) and he thinks/knows that they will be available later in the lottery, and he can snag a couple extra assets at the same time, then he may as well do so.

Why spend a #2 pick on someone if they're not your favourite guy? Why draft someone #2 if they're expected to go further down?

D.Williams and the #9 could potentially be packaged for NOH/SAC's pick, too. So we could still look to jump up in the draft again.

I think that if we were to trade our 2nd for DW+9th we could be improving our draft positions even more.

A team like Dallas is shopping their pick for cap space, and we do have cap space to take (2 yr contracts won't hurt too much) and we also have our TPE.

I think we should aim for 3rd pick as well. If the rumor of Ilyasova being enough for the 3rd pick is true, I'm sure Derrick Williams would be too. Maybe even push in a future pick (2015+ when we should be back in the play offs)

Come out with 3rd (Noel if Mclemore/Oladipo go 1st&2nd respectively) 9th (One of McCollum, MCW or Schroeder) and 13th (KCP?????)

Not that hard to understand, he's got great size for someone with legitimate point guard skills, pretty good perimeter defender, and some ability to create his own shot. Downside is not much of a scorer at this point.

Personally I'd love to find a way to get him. He's a bit of a risk, but his potential top end is very high.

Size, size, size. Has no mechanics flaws in his jumper. Good insticts and court vision. Potential. Could end up being the best PG in the draft if he really works on the jumper.

Did u listen to mcw interview?

He and Cj said that Burke doesn't to do work out against them and that they d play anyone

Cj seems to be a great work out guy and compared himself to curry

I like him, he can shoot and create his own shot, seems like he has extra fat on him though

Mcw is a risk for sure but he's one of the prospects with the highest potential. Being able to shoot it helps but it isn't required to play at an elite level imo. Look at Rubio, look at Rondo those guys aren't the greatest shooters but they can play at a high level, more Rondo than Rubio but still it isn't a requirement.

MCW's mechanics isn't bad he just shoots a flat shot, no arc. His size and athleticism at the pg position you can't teach. If he can get stronger he'll have a physical advantage almost every night against opposing point guards.

People talk about potential with Mclemore but why doesn't Mcw get the same shake? Personally I think Williams potential is higher than Mclemore if we're simply just talking about potential.

Howard Cosell wrote:Derrick Williams is not an overpaid bust. He won't find many minutes behind AK47 & Love next season. Derrick was at 17 per 36 last season and had a good second half of the season. Williams is a tweener who should be playing more PF but the Twolves have Love so he will again be forced to play the SF for little minutes. DW is not overpaid, he still has 2 seasons left of his rookie contract. I understand why Orlando wouldn't want to trade their pick for Williams + 9 + 26...there are many valid and good reasons. Orlando might find a better buyer, but Williams is not an overpaid bust.

Like it or not, those two didn't play most of last year and Williams still failed to put up even average numbers. He was definitely better than his rookie year, but he still isn't worth trading for at any cost.

Where ya been at dude? Pretty much everyone who wants MCW wants him solely because of his potential/upside lol.

I'm not that big of a MCW fan myself but if we had a later pick i guess I wouldn't be opposed to him.. cant teach size

No difference from anyone else in this draft. "Potential" is on each players scouting report.
