Why would any team give us anything for Harris, he's way overpaid, we'd need to pay to get rid of him.

I think The Magic should have gutted it out with Vuc.
The picks will be mid first round and while Carter looked good coming into the league, I am not really high on him although he could be a starter.
Getting Aminu moved was good but I still feel The Magic could have reset the wing with The Gordon deal, used the high draft pick this year and been a good team next year.
I guess we agree on approach, but you are higher on Isaac and Fultz than I am (or FO) now. It is not a terrible return, we are clearing the cap and deals reported so far accumulated 2 FP and 2 SRPs with minimal salary coming back. Let's see what AG will fetch.
This is a direction I was inclined for last month or so, fully aware of risks pepe highlighted. It comes down to FO having a plan or relying only on draft luck and latter might even mean many years or decade of pain.
I am very happy with the Gordon return.
I just wouldn't have given up going with Vucevic yet. We shall see.

That was quick. Depends on what Gary Harris looks like, he has settled with defensive role in Denver and might drive some people on this board crazy as here he will be asked to do way too much than he actually is capable of. TJ Hampton is someone I have not formed opinion on yet, quick stats look shows him as non-shooter both in college and in Denver. I guess that fact bundled with being tall PG bringing some wingspan historically fits our team ever since Jameer. Not sure which FP we got.
I think the organization wanted to save money. Boston absorbed his salary.IllMagic04 wrote:I cant believe thats all we could get for Evan. Our cap situation should be interesting since we didnt take back salary and Otto Porter expiring.

Is the pick next season unprotected?MagicStarwipe wrote:Magic#1 wrote:Folks, check out Chicago's remaining strength of schedule. It's no cakewalk for them to get to the playoffs. 7th hardest SOS remaining. Plus, the teams in front of them are capable teams. Vooch makes them better? But are they clearly better than the teams in front of them? I don't see it.
They'll be fighting for a play in spot in my opinion. Will be very interesting to see how much better (if at all) Vuc makes them. I think we end up with 2 lottery picks this year.

What’s our cap space looking like this summer?
