Cute data, but false.
2010-11 OKC , 55 wins. Trip to WCF.
leading scorers: Durant, Westbrook Harden, age 22,22,21.
Orlando Muse got lazy, they didn't counted oKC because "Jeff Green" but Green was traded mid season so he shouldn't be counted.
And Memphis did pretty much same thing two years ago, but i think they don't "count " because Brooks averaged like 1,5 ppg more than Jackson.

The Celtics coach is also ahead of Mosely in odds. Mosely is 3rd.thelead wrote:Bensational wrote:*IF* we somehow manage to sneak all the way into the #2 seed, and OKC ends up #3 seed in the West but with a better record, does Mosley become the favourite for COTY? *IF* we win out and get to 50 wins, yes, he deserves it.

I agree, they did not take a win-now approach to the last off-season. Adding Ingles and two lotto talents was as hands off as it gets. The players mention that they've been building something over the last three seasons and I think the continuity was genuinely important to the coaching staff and players. I think they identify a core group and are invested in letting that core group play things out. And somehow that identity is resilient to pressures for upgrades. At least for now. It's very telling that Fultz and Harris are expiring contracts.basketballRob wrote:I don't think the front office was serious about winning this season. We still have cap space. We could've had a player like TRoss sitting on the deep bench to come in games like last night when everyone was tired and knock down a few 3s. It's painful to watch 21 and 22 year olds fighting against teams that are stacked with vets.

As far as I'm concerned it played out, this team as constructed is capped.... To go forward you may have to take an initial step back chemistry wise for a better constructed team.eyriq wrote:I agree, they did not take a win-now approach to the last off-season.
